i think trey and matt are now old and i am yet to find an actual hilarious old dudes who are not obnoxious or self depreciating. Even dave chapelle is no longer funny and he is just thriving on soyllienals memberberries.

The plot of south park had the simple premise of 4 kids trying to achieve a simple goal like trying to get something or winning some competition or just going on a very basic adventure and with that they experience whacky shit which ranged from satirical digs at popular figures to just plain out of the box retardation that will get a laugh out of you.

Now? its becoming what it hated...it has become family guy except there is no peter griffin and in his place we have randy marsh who sucks. Everything now has to be some commentary on the ongoings of the world, instead of just trying to be fun and jokes.

But in the end, now my hate for gen X and soyllienals have increased and I could not bother about anything anymore.

If the show burns in cinders with trey and matt trying to save their asses? excellent.

If the show becomes successful and has the reins of the current zeitgiest? Wonderful

They can make an episode about how every corpos are burning their house and several suicides are being commited which includes kenny (OMG THEY KILLED KENNY!) and kyle finally has enough and try to find out who is "they", the plot revolves around kenny being secretly a part of a splinter cell which kenny joins in desperation to find syndey sweeny nudes only to be sent as a double agent and barely avoids getting raped by notable figures they wanna include.

You're probably too young to have been around for George Carlin. But he was one of the first entertainers to go from being humorous or silly, as a standup comic, to being over the top political to the point of driving himself insane. Carlin's last few performance are just him screaming anti-White or anti-Christian rants at the audience with no subtly. You could actually see his face start to bloat in the last couple specials on HBO.

Bill Hicks was another before him, who spent most of his time on stage attacking White culture than actually making jokes, yet still was always referred to as a 'comedian'. There are lots of other comics and shows like this as well. And they all have it in common that none of them ever returned to being funny or like their original selves again. Once they became the 'clapter' versions of themselves it was a permanent change.

Blackmail only works if there is a physical copy of the blackmail material in question. Sherlock did an entire episode about this; when Sherlock confronted a blackmailer and the blackmailer going full on violent sperg when Sherlock explained that the villain's much talked about vault of blackmail material never existed and the villain simply has a photographic memory and could bullshit people into thinking he has physical proof of sins/crimes when he demanded shit from people.

I would argue that trump is one of the hardest people to make fun of all time. It was easy at first, but now every single joke has been so overdone and so overplayed and so overused that making an actually poinient joke that doesn't make you come across as a TDS sufferer is extremely hard. All the low hanging fruit has been so thoroughly plucked that the tree is barren now.

Yeah, its super easy to preach to the choir which is what most of anti trump comedy is, but making an actual joke? Basically impossible.
