"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

Sig Sauer M17 and M18's are being pulled from service due to the fact that they unironically fire without a trigger pull. The Airforce had an airman get popped in the chest by his service pistol while on the table in front of him. This has been a long running meme that the Sig P320, the civilian model, suffers from negligent discharges and it know basically is openly confirmed after the Michigan State Police and Air Force confirmed the gun fucking sucks. The gun thread would likely have a better write up, but fuck p320 drop memes are a known thing.
Did a literal DEI retard make these standard issue and how the fuck does a gun like this pass QC

The M17 pistol trials included several handguns, the Glock and Sig P320 made it to the final rounds before they decided to prematurely end the trials and pretend that Sig passed the military trials because Sig undercut Glock (because Glock was not willing to put out literal garbage) and Sig almost certainly bribed some niggas.

The Die, Enlisted! Industrial Complex pushed it through, just like most DoD hardware and software. It's just that sidearms are deployed and actually used orders of magntitude more than the expensive shit like missiles that any tomfoolery or bad practices were bound to be been uncovered pretty quickly; plus a pistol contract is less mission critical than shit like missiles and planes which means that there's less impetus to take on time and cost overruns to fix the issues. Unfortunately this all led to the death of that Airman.

Despite the abundance of incidents, no one has pinpointed the exact cause of the issue yet and they are yet to fail an actual drop test without ever so slight tampering or condition setting.

They do go off on their own in holsters, but it is difficult to reproduce and likely only happens to certain pistols with tolerance stacking issues. a Few tests have indeed gotten them to go bang, but only when selectively choosing parts (provided by sig) gauged to make it happen.

Sig didn't just sell a death trap, they sold an enigmatic one, which is far and away more dangerous then an obvious one.

Wasn't Crowder a huge Sig shill? Wonder where they were putting their budget.

Glock not put out garbage???

Sir are you sure you are not a basketball American? A glock is new is like used shit box Honda in order to get it to operate to any sort of precision these days you need to
After market the fuck out of it. For the same price the M&P is superior. FN may be a step up price wise but less then having to port a barrel or make the frame feel ergonomic.

Even worse I picked up a canik. Not.a bad firearm for the price point.

At one point glock was the pinnacle now it's just a brand name. Shit I bought a cheap Taurus that I bought to mess with and the customer service and the build quality for what was paid was well worth it.
