Jim's had quiet stretches before (usually due to a health complication) so this might just be another. They've also discontinued store items before but never this many at once. Who knows

If Jim died jade would just come out and say it. Taking the merch down is probably just because its not profitable if he died people would be grabbing up merch why wouldn't she take that opportunity to make money on it.

The merch site probably just upped their prices, like everybody else did. If they suddenly wanted a couple extra grand to host and ship, I don't really blame them, especially if Metokur has medical bills.
