Words have definitions. Enforcing our immigration laws isn't "totalitarianism". Honest. Look it up. Remember this when your home is burglarized and you consider having the intruder removed instead of housing them alongside your frightened children and paying their grocery and medical bills.

Burglars and their apologists aren't on the "right side of history". If someone has to be victimized by uninvited intruders, I hope it's you or someone you care about.

I love a good "America has been a nation of immigrants from all over the world since its founding" argument. Sad that history doesn't actually reflect that.

I'm sorry but the United States doesn't have magical soil. Immigration has and always will have consequences no matter which country receives it. These aren't always positive. The Irish tried to invade Canada from New England, Italians brought over the Mafia, and now we have Somalians in places like Minnesota who seem to care more about their dysfunctional and chaotic "homeland" then they do the country that allowed them to not die horribly in some stupid local conflict.

Lastly, if you think 18th century arrivals in the US were "economic refugees" (protip: they weren't) where do you think they got the money to pay for passage? Trans-Atlantic crossings were far from cheap back then.

I've been thinking a lot about the natural born citizen thing and wonder if that did get overturned what would make any of us citizens? Because your parents were citizens? How are they citizens, because of their parents, etc? If that's the qualification then it seem your ancestors would've had to have been here when the 14th Amendment was ratified and everyone who came after along with their descendants would also be illegals.

That would sure would suck for a lot of people but my family has been in what is now the United States before it was founded.

It's an open secret that those who commit crimes against children, especially ones of a sexual nature, are seen as "fair game" in the prison system. If Epstein isn't able to leverage some form "mutually assured destruction", it's likely he will end up among the general prison population where there will most likely be some kind of bounty ran by the inmates (and possible a few guards who will all be picking up a penny at the exact same time). And given what he's done, it might make more sense to him to just ACK himself on the spot instead of waking up to the feeling of his skin being slowly flayed off.
