I've been seeing more AI stuff on Reddit. Here's HiddenRaconteur who hates taxes and loves Elon Musk. Please resist bringing politics into this shit I'm just pointing this out.

As an example:

It’s frustrating how often people get this wrong. It’s easy to blame the big companies but in reality, UK supermarkets are not raking in “greedy” profits.

Most operate on razor-thin margins while juggling rising costs from inflation, energy, logistics, and theft. The idea that they’re exploiting consumers during the cost of living crisis to “make billions” is a misconception.

Yes, supermarkets like Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and Asda generate billions in revenue, but revenue is not profit. Their net profit margins are modest at best:- Tesco: 2.3%- Sainsbury’s: 0.74%- Waitrose: 1.2%- M&S (Food division): 2.1%- Asda: 0.9%

To put that into context, most UK grocers operate with net margins under 3%. That’s pennies of profit on every pound spent.

Frankly, they’d likely be better off selling up and putting their money into an index fund or government bonds.

Compare that to the tech giants:- Apple: 25%- Microsoft: 36%- Google: 31%

While prices have risen, the UK Competition and Markets Authority (2023) found no strong evidence that supermarket profit margins have increased significantly. Most remain flat or falling.

Meanwhile, retail theft cost UK supermarkets £953 million in 2023 (British Retail Consortium). That’s not just a statistic, it has a direct impact on prices. Retailers either absorb the cost or pass it on, further squeezing already tight margins.

The margin for survival is so thin, it wouldn’t take much to push some of these retailers to close. And when that happens, it’s not just shelves that go empty, it’s jobs, local economies, and communities that suffer.

I guess most people don't realize this is AI posting unless you fuck around with AI a lot. AI can't resist throwing adjectives everywhere and forming a conclusion. There are also ten objective facts here that nobody would know off the top of their head.

This also appears to be a real person who just uses Grok to fight people on the internet, which, Christ almighty posting on Reddit is pathetic enough without having an AI post for you.

It seems like nowadays that every little thing has a label now. If you only want to fuck people after only after getting to know them, you're demisexual . Even not being a complete whore has to have an exotic sounding label now.

On a related note, the vast majority of people who claim to be asexual are either lying or full of shit (especially online). When push comes to shove 99% of them will admit to wanting to fuck [insert attractive celebrity/fictional character here]

This image I found on Twitter would be interesting to post here, me thinks. I think it says everything that I already knew about leftism regarding their need to label everything and treat every minor inconvenience as an excuse to be quirky or get minority oppression points.

Lord only knows what that seemingly non-polytix sub was originally intended for, but here's what looks like as of a few minutes ago. I imagine it's mostly bots all spamming each other but still:

It continues beyond that but you can only zoom out so much before compromising legibility.

This is what that actually is supposed to mean? :story: I never looked it up because "demisexual" on it's own just sounds too retarded to me already. Why the fuck would they need a label for this? Congratulations, you are like 95% of the world.

They can't understand that maybe just maybe right wingers were the ones who found this shit funny and promoted it in the first place. For redditors everything is a weapon and can never just exist for fun. what losers.

Honestly with how many different labels these people give each other and how every one of them has to be a part of the LGBT, how do these people differentiate between an actual straight person who's not a part of the LGBTQ to someone that's asexual or polysexual? For example, if I'm someone who doesn't engage in romance unless I got to know the person more (according to queer logic), that would make me demisexual. But what if I never want to label myself that? Would I not be a part of the LGBTQ? Again, I would really like to ask these people what exactly makes someone not LGBTQ if straight people who have a low sex drive, lack of romantic interest, polyamory, etc can all be a part of the community. Like what does your community even stand for at this point? Sexualities that are "abnormal"? When was someone who chose to not engage in sex, romance, or waited until they got to know the person seen as abnormal? When did someone who loved multiple people or wanted to fuck any woman that moved seen as abnormal?
For them what even is "normal" sex? It seems like for them, they look at sex the same way incels do. That they're the only ones who actually love their partners and everyone else is using their partners just as a fuck hole.

this is like GTA parody internet

Its basic male behavior to make fun of your friends though....
Yeah I know, I'm saying for redditors nothing can just be "fun". It all has to be deadly serious. For them your friends calling you gay for drinking white claws isn't a joke it's projection or something like that instead of you know being a joke. It's like these people clearly never had friends.

It's just not the same anymore. I notice it even when i talk to like-minded people of my age about nerd stuff. The whole culture just got so thoroughly pozzed. As always, blame the normgroid, shun the normgroid. In the end not gatekeeping shit hard enough is what made basically any nerdy hobby/content shitty. That and the endless politicizing of everything, which is the worst result of not gatekeeping shit.

Geek culture died when all the normies who made fun of nerds and social outcasts in high-school found out it was now socially acceptable to like nerdy shit. There was a mass migration of terrible, shitty people and everyone was either too timid or polite to tell the normie-cattle to piss off.

Geek culture died when the real world became shit enough that normies, not just social outcasts, became attracted to extreme escapism.

And just like in pretty much every totalitarian country, the ruling party controls all the hobby clubs. The only difference is here, the "party" is an ideology that's funded by a loose network of shadowy NGO's funded by billionaires who are using our society as a petri dish for their experiments in social engineering. IDK why they chose nerds of all subcultures to push this on.

Our DM makes fantasy settings for escapism and I commend them for that. A lot of people, regardless of their beliefs do and it can make for some great gaming. But constant politisperging gets in the way of escapism.
My group is made up of actual Nazis, far left weirdos, and my DM. And even when I DM for them I have one wool. If you bring up politics, unless someone brought it up themselves and continue talking about it when we start, I immediately ban you. I've banned several people from my groups who wouldn't stop insulting Gary Gygax when it wasn't. Regardless, talking about anything we were talking about. I also just don't play with liberals.

I wish I could find a group like that, but it's hard to do that these days. It's funny how chuds and dyed in the wool leftists can sometimes bond over their mutual hatred of liberals too.

The first group I played with since moving to my current state had a good mix of different opinions and our DM was pretty open minded. He even said he'd played with people with all sorts of different beliefs including "nazis" and no one ever brought up politics. But life drove the group apart and it disbanded a couple years ago and that DM has since gone on to have a baby and is super busy with life.

Next group I played with was actually the progenitor to the one I'm with now had a literal anarcho commie for a DM and I know this because the land where most of the story took place in had no leaders and no money and everyone kinda just got along with each other (but not the monsters though). Said anarcho commie fantasy land was also sequestered and hidden from the rest of the game's world which is such a self-own in hindsight. :story: Surprisingly, politics were never brought up during that campaign and there were some fun moments. Also it was run by a branch of my county's library district which is absolutely filled to the brim with shitlibs and leftists.

That group kinda disbanded after the DM had a medical emergency and one of the players decided to DM instead. And for a time, things were good but then DRUMPFT got elected and suddenly politics got brought up more and more. I guess the Biden admin was a pacifier for these people. No one brought up politics during our session yesterday but one guy wore a shirt about "fighting nazis" and I can only assume he's going by the reddit definition rather than the historical one.

On a similar note, does the Farms have a tabletop gaming stories thread?
