General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Well at least the chest tattoo is real.
Damn that actually is a terrible tattoo what the fuck. Why do people even get those gay-ass large font text tats, it doesn't belong on the human body, it just can't fit in on the irregular canvas, unless you justify it with some framing like Rich Piana had. Also, eye-scorching LED ribbon crap + side tail + choker + fake-ass eyebrows + looks like winged eyeliner + (most important of all) round frame glasses. Yurrp, I can infer all the other red flags from just one picture.
All that being said though, I can admire her dedication to her streaming shtick, all the custom art she makes herself and all that jazz, and the clips I occasionally see of her are always fine. You can also feel a lack of confidence behind her usual brash image from some of her mannerisms which, may God forgive me for uttering this, can be cute.

it feels like most everyone who quits or gets fired from corpo vtubing completely disassociates from everyone they used to work with or burns every bridge they can on the way out
They don't want to make it even more obvious who they were by talking about it on stream. Plus, there's a lot more to a streamer's life than what they stream. This applies even more if you're hiding your face behind an anime avatar.

Unicorns aren't the only people crashing out from Nimi's announcement
soft confirmations that they still keep in touch somewhat are pretty nice. it feels like most everyone who quits or gets fired from corpo vtubing completely disassociates from everyone they used to work with or burns every bridge they can on the way out
Almost everyone who has quit on JP has been referenced in some form or another, atleast Aqua, and very recently Shion were, Kson was at first refered as C-chan but it was also a pretty wierd moment where Kanata allegedly had to move because of her joining VSJ, but i think that was a rrat
About EN, well, i think EN was always wierd about referencing each other even when they were all together, Kiara had alot of contact with her genmates and still mentions ame afaik, and Council is just there

I personally have my own rrat that Vshojo wanted her to not be a roommate with Kanata because she was infact Hololive. The main basis for that rrat is based off Gunrun malding about Hololive & thinking that them grabbing Nazuna (Rushia) and Kson (Coco) was the end of Hololive. It likely isnt the case, but it is a slightly fun thing to think about.

Oh yeah, this entire breakdown of VSJ and the true colors of the higher ups being revealed really puts previous events into perspective, i think Veibae still seethed about Holo on her own but there are eons of possibilities now that the CEO has been revealed to seethe about Holo and the COO was allegedly rrating on /vt/

Seems like the case, chairman talked about vshojo a bit in the stream

I was watching a clip of Geega talking about some of the situation with them, and cut into the clip was a bit from Connor talking about those pillar ads Vshojo took out
View attachment 7690060
(timestamped from the Geega Clip)
Prices listed on the site Connor pulls up place it at 40 million yen per pillar to run adds on, or 200 million yen for the whole place.

If we low ball it and guess that the ads were only on the 4 pillars you can see them on in that photo. That comes out to about 800 thousand dollars. If they had them run in the whole place, and the photo just didn't capture it all in one shot, 1.3 Million dollars. And that's just if they only ran the adds for one period and didn't book them for an extended time.

Which is to say, they had that big initial investment, yes, but they weren't exactly spending frugally.
This was debunked by someone that actually lives in japan and works in translations (Poltfan) on Twitter. Connor fucked up the kanji and its 000 less than what he mentioned. All in all the ads ran up to somewhere in the $25,000 - $50,000 USD depending on how long they were up.

Not as huge as $1.3M but still a disgustingly large number to market your brand in a country where there is no market for it. Had this been done when Kson and Nazuna got onboarded or much later when the JP branch was announced it would make way more sense.

I also found a clip earlier where Cotton described meeting CDawg and one of the first things he said to her was "I've seen your pussy."
I think at this point everyone in ther internet has seen her pussy and her tits.

Bagsterd? He's largely shed his anime skin and mainly streams himself. I think he still pulls his rig out whenever he collabs or feels like it.
He does fleshstreaming now for the most part. Pulls out his PNG whenever he collabs with Moonshine/Kiba/Kirsche. He recently made a short Video shitting on Vshojo.

Veibae mentioned that Vshojo smeared her name and tried to paint her as a huge cunt but I have a feeling Vshojo had little to do with that. People were already calling her a cunt before she left because of all the shit she said about Hololive and then when she tried to go after Shylily for imitating her voice and getting popular off it.

Ironmouse is a backstabbing and super fake stereotypical latina.
What did she do to backstab someone? I'm out of the loop on that.
Others here have stated henya and kson are the exeption, but Henya just isn't the same. I can't watch her fake annoying squeaky voice with her schtick where she pretends to be ESL, despite the fact that there are videos of her as Pikamee speaking perfect english with no accent in her normal voice. It's just not the same.
I feel the same. Her switching to Henya & finding out she's a lolicon while doing the whole loli act kinda killed it for me.
100%. I don’t know why her sexting some dude like a decade ago when she was twenty was the end all be all to some people.
If you're in a marriage and you separate briefly to take a "break" and you end up having sex with other people? You're still cheating. Man or woman. Just divorce already.
The whole telephone game around Froot drives me nuts cause I don't want to defend her, she comes off as a snake fuck but I swear most of the people that go after her don't even know what actually happened. They absolutely should have just divorced but realistically people that young shouldn't be getting married in the first place, especially if you'd have to move to another country just to be with your husband with no connection with the rest of your family or friends. Her biggest mistake was rushing into a marriage in a foreign country at a young age, not "cheating" on some guy that treated her like shit & then asked for a break by telling some other guy she thought about him while masturbating.
& she never got money from other people to donate on their behalf so I don't get the whole "where's the money Froot?" talking point, especially since the charity turned out to be a shitshow in the first place. If anything it's a good thing she didn't donate any money, she should have just come forward about why she wasn't but it's been so long it seems like a moot point.

There was speculation back when Nazuna was announced that the ads had been specifically targeted at her.

In any other scenario I'd say that was retarded, but with the revelation that company resources were being spent astroturfing /vt/ and it being alleged that the C-suite thought they had Cover on the ropes when they snagged Kson, I'd put this firmly in the realm of possibility.

I see, apart from that though there's also the fact those pillars aren't all the ads they had in Akihabara station which would end up running that cost up plenty more..

I think it's likely Connor knows how much the advertising cost and just tried to retardedly reverse engineer the cost rather than just say "Ironmouse told me"

I imagine the main reason was purely so Gunrun could stroke his own ego about it given his obsession with beating Hololive
