If you want to talk about the quality of people who use chat vs discord, I still don't think it's equal. There's the rare exceptions, but about 90% of anything I've ever seen in chat is just bait posting or nonsense.

The old accounts are compromised. Their details are shared on websites that collect compromised account data, often from malware or other leaks collated together.

There is no site breach.

I have proactively locked down all accounts which I have found in these leaks. Accounts with disposable emails were banned.

New accounts will continue to be made.

Multiple groups are taking credit. It is possible it is multiple groups, multiple groups blaming each other, a single group...
