Here's the thing to me. It's the same deal with the gun scare in the US. The MOAB is just a larger scale daisy cutter, and the method for dying from one is the same damned way as from a lot of other munitions (overpressure). However it's big and scary and the left is pretending to not understand it. If it were black it would be the same argument as the AR-15. We aren't dropping WP, VX, or ADAMS filled with HIV; there's no sane and rational reason to autistically screech over this munition specifically, especially when we've delivered over double the payload to Syria a week prior to the MOAB.

I like how the american bomb has these sleek lines, stubby wings and so on to make it look like an actual weapon while the russian version just looks like they stuffed as much explosives as theiy could find into an old septic tank and glued a little parachute on the back.

Different countries' militaries have different design philosophies. What a shocker.

Ah the joy's of Russian engineering, Russian equipment might not look the best but for the most part, it's designed to work when other equipment will just give up and be made with poor quality materials.

Russia has never and will never have to have the latest and greatest military equipment what Russia uses to win war's is sheer numbers, I think the statistic during ww2 was 1 German for ever 10 Russians and a lot of them especially during the middle of the war where fighting with truly outdated equipment for the most part, never play the numbers game with Russia you'll always lose.

Russian tanks put functionality over impressive equipement (like oversized weapons or armor) and they did great with that concept.

This FOAB is basically the same, why bother making it aerodynamic and fancy-looking when all it has to do is fall out of a plane and blow up a small town? That's what I really like about the way they do things, it's very straightforward.
