The beauty of mem is that she always manages to find the most head scratchingly stupid things to spend her money on. She ebegged for funds to replace the toilet seat in her rental because it had a discoloration, and then raced out in what she claimed was a serious storm to go get it. She immediately trashed the house and claimed she started pissing the bed because she couldn't get up in time.

She used to beg endlessly for popsicles because her room mate had a rotten tooth and couldn't eat anything else. It doesn't occur for her to beg occupy medical for a free extraction, or use e beg money to get a low cost tooth pull. She just kept feeding him sugar water for a rotten tooth.

The water actually makes sense by mem's standards as I imagine it's anticipation of the water getting shut off. Still profoundly stupid, though.
