long story short (and ignoring the gay ARG on port 666) the giga brain Mald is running extremely outdated software for SSH on port 22 and the OS allowing for a rather easy attack vector:

• Username Enumeration (CVE-2015-5600): This is a well-known vulnerability in older OpenSSH versions. By carefully measuring the time it takes for the server to respond, an attacker can determine if a username is valid on the system without needing to guess passwords. This allows them to build a list of valid users for further attacks.
• Unpatched OS Vulnerabilities: This is the most critical risk. Since Debian 7 has not received security patches since 2018, it's vulnerable to numerous high-severity exploits discovered since then. An attacker could potentially gain access through another vulnerable service (like the web server) and then escalate their privileges to full control of the machine by exploiting a known, unpatched kernel vulnerability.
