I have to give this one to Rick, the stalker child actually is wrong here. Gravity is how a lot of energy is stored, by pumping water uphill into a reservoir and then releasing it through turbines when needed.

There are also gravity batteries being developed, which are just big blocks of concrete that are lifted and then lowered as needed (spinning a generator to create electricity). Pretty cool to be honest.

Nobody can accuse us of not being fair and balanced.

I have to disagree, if it's a citizen doing this we'd likely see the same thing that's happening to solar energy where people are getting their credits slash in half. Then you have to worry about some retard President gutting it. Worse, some States added new fees to people who want to use solar. Something would need to be done with politicians and energy companies to be able to make a profit off your excess energy.

There's also the issue where you're going to put it. Currently they're planning to use old coal mine shafts for it, and no I don't mean Niki's suitors.

I honestly did not read the last sentence of the original tweet as I was shocked to see Fat writing something sensible.

Almost sensible. Clearly it's in the realm of science fiction that he writes, in other words not well thought out. You're biggest hurdles are the politicians and energy companies and then where you're going to put the batter. They can be quite large.

You're right but I bet if you asked F@t to explain this he'd not only be entirely unable to, he'd call you a stalker infant on the verge of life in prison, and he'd tell you to Google it.

And he'd be very fat the entire time he did so.

Imagine, if you will, a world where energy is stored in the form or grotesquely fat writers, or people who like to be seen as writers, suspended over the endless abyss, lowered and raised in turn to spin turbines. In this world, their surroundings and precarious positions over the edge of solid, rational ground feed not only their maddened scribblings, but also their delusions. Watch out, for you have just taken a step into the prison zone, stalker.

Of course Rick knows a lot about gravity energy storage. Because, you see, he's very fat.

Gravity batteries are and always will be shit for energy storage. For a (particularly tall) two-story house, you would need to suspend more than 1000 pounds from the top of the building to reach even .005% (generously) of the daily electricity usage of said house.

PE=mgh
m = 453.5924kg
g = 9.8m/s^2
h = 7.62m

PE = 33,872.4661j
j/3,600,000=kWh

PE = 0.00940902 kWh

For perspective a house that size can use like 30 kWh per day!

This is ignoring energy lost to friction/sound/heat.

You forgot to include the best reply to the gravity battery:

"Now go a step further with this. Imagine you have the energy storage infrastructure (battery, gravity, whatever) in place to capture this excess. You could get PAID to store electricity for later use.
The fossil fuel industry will do everything ot can to kill renewables."

"Now waddle a step further with this. Imagine you have the food storage infrastructure (silo, fridge, whatever) in place to capture this meat. You could get PAID to grind diversity children for later use.
The Milwaukee Police Department will do everything it can to kill Fatrick."

"You're like this because no one ever loved you.
And no one ever will."

Patrick got so (fat)ass mad at a copypasta that he forgets to tell the stalker to enjoy prison, meaning they will roam free.

Someone else legally adopted the child (this apparently was NOT the case)
Jon did indeed adopt Annabelle. That was likely one of the papers Rick had to sign. Jon Snyder is that kid’s legal father now and forever.
I imagine Tommy probably worked a lot
No, child. He did not. Tommy was a layabout who never had a steady job despite all of Patrick’s hagiography about him being an electrician and a this and a that and a shooting instructor and rodeo clown. Tommy was a loser. The only thing he was ever good at was sucking other men’s dicks and taking cock(s) in his ass. Judith kept food on the table with her school counselor job.

Imagine being objectively right but people are still on the other guy's side because you are such a sanctimonious asshole.
