Just because they may be frustrated at having to process devices with only lolicon on them does not make lolicon legally or morally okay. As I alluded to, given current US law, it's a bad strategy to charge a suspect solely for lolicon drawings and nothing else. That doesn't mean there's no risk of them harming kids or that there's no legal risk to having lolicon on your devices.

I never said there was zero chance that lolicons could also harm kids.

You examine evidence by first downloading the evidence from the Apple search warrant it comes from. Then, that gives you a .ufdx file which you then load into Cellebrite Physical Analyzer (this is actually an older product, the new one Cellebrite Inseyets sucks ass). After that, it collates the data from the raw iCloud dump, takes forever. Once that's done you click create report, go through a bunch of options, and it spits out a .ufdr file for investigation.
