I think all HOI4 mods should adopt TFR's policy of handing off development of places to people from those places.

I think that's the worst idea possible unless you only want world conquest paths. Ideally, locals are kept as far away as possible from the development process of a tag aside from researching for lore. I dream of Norway content developed by New Zealanders.

Instead of telling me about that. Perhaps tell me about how my military is doing. In HOI4 you play as a field marshal. you do not play as AIPAC seeing who is winning elections. I had prepared so long against Russia and France only for France to push me no matter what I do since there is a -21% debuff to all military stats. It does not matter during the war you lose it. Since you lose it piecemeal over time. ITs way too slow and they push into Frankfurt within a month since no defense.

The actual nigger retards on the kaiserreich subreddit are just like "Bro just do trenchwarfare bro! The AI does a meatgrinder!" What do you think I am doing? The stats suck so much literally there is no defense. There is no way to defend against the France AI as every battle is a loss. Turns out that it's EaW's 8th anniversary (funny how they seem to be all at the same time).

There's a post on the sub-reddit with kind of interviews with 5 of the devs. It's pretty interesting overall and a nice look into a dev team that actually consistently puts out updates, bug fixes and doesn't arbitrarily decide to remove vast swathes of content and replace it with nothing.

I will always find it hilarious that seemingly the most stable mod team is a bunch of bronys.

Playing TFR with the devestation overhaul mod, China & India nuked eachother. For context, yellow icon is civilian casualties.

Mind you, before the RoI RAJ tag capped, they had 35 million casualties, meaning all the new Indian warlords' casualties are fresh. Now for the most horrifying part of all:

All of them are in Goa, which has a core population of 1.4 million compared to the 77 MILLION refugees they're housing meaning they get a -1500% stability debuff.

Eh, it depends. A lot of modern TNO devs are just as obsessive about politics as your run of the mill ultranationalist. What matters is if the content is actually fun or not, I reckon.

Apart from the very old content, it has a Natpop path which leds you choose between Kurt von Schleicher and Hermann Göring. You can also decide to either peacefully form Greater Germany with the Austrian Empire or just go straight for mighty PANEVROPA, no matter who won the latest decision clicking election.
You also have the Roter Morgen (german civil war) content which never got finished, because the original dev threw a hissy fit.
