He buys the cheapest, paper-thin cuts of meat you've ever seen, coats them in about a pound of seasonings and then burns all the seasonings to a crispy coating on the pan, filling his house with smoke in the process.

Then he leaves water in the pan overnight so it's possible to scrub it off the next day, when he does it again.
I don't think he even oils it. It's a stainless steel pan.
