Combine this with their abysmal birth rate (reportedly 0. and their staggering youth unemployment rate of 35%, they’re close to the abyss. Of course, so is America due to many of the same reasons.

so here is the thing about bick buildings....you have to make them thicker on the bottom then the top. Thats why we use steel Ibeams to carry the weight.

What I m trying to say is that we dont build like that anymore and havent in over 100 years. Imagine a building or house designed for human occupation. In the 1920s the electric light is just 30 years old.

I worked in a highschool building from the fucking 1910's. The classrooms have high ceilings and one wall is basically windows. BECAUSE YOU NEED SUN LIGHT AND VENTOLATION. The high ceilings are in case of fire there is space for smoke to go.

In a time of modern materials lights, air conditioning, and fire supression systems. The form and function of the building will change.
