Maybe I missed any discussion clicking through the highlights, but yesterday (02-Aug-2025) was supposed the day of more anti-Trump protests with the theme of Rage against the Regime.

When I was out, however, I saw no protests on my way from home to my destination and only a handful of protestors (less than 10?) in one site on the way back home. As it was, an acquaintance who appears to be a frequent pro-Blue protestor was instead more interested in a protest against book banning that took place this weekend 🤷‍♂️.

Not sure if the frequent protests are leading to lower turnout and increased burnout, or if the protests still have better turnout in the usual deep Blue areas.

Call me optimistic, but folks finally might understand how silly these protests made them look to the country, and by extension, the world.


...Or more likely, the USAID money dried up and these protests were never organic to begin with.

If I'm being honest, I don't want this to be an India issue. I want it to be an immigration issue. I don't want foreigners of any type taking jobs from Americans. I don't want them to be enfrachised to change the very DNA of our country. They don't have to be Indian to do that.

That being said, I find Indians to be the most repulsive culture on this planet, and that's no small feat. If I could snap my finger and depopulate the entire subcontinent and its diaspora I'd be hand-jive snapping at 110 BPM.

OK I had a fucking day and I need to talk about it.

For years I would go to state parks and hike by myself, go down trails, wear my Merrells, bring my trail mix, listen to and be in and enjoy and appreciate the natural beauty of my state.

My girl, she's a city girl. So while I took her a few times, it wasn't the same, and I didn't enjoy it as much. I haven't had time or inclination to go to the parks in the past few years, probably not since 22'.

A few weeks ago she asked to go, so we did. A state park close to me, only about 20 miles from the city center. And it was filled with spics and jeets and I hated it. Walking a trail and seeing a woman in a hijab? Wtf is this? But whatever, it's close to some low income suburbs, and it's really a glorified park/playground than a place to hike.

Last night she said let's go today to another state park, way further north, close to 80 miles away. She wants to make it day trip, etc.

The area is gorgeous, and the demographics of those living there are white.

Without hyperbole, we were 2 of maybe 10 white people out of close to 500 people. Mostly spics, but also a tremendous amount of south east Asians. Bros, I watched a group of 50 men pray to mecca at a state park today, serenaded by short order cook music, and surrounded by egg shaped women and a quinceanera. None of this is exaggerated. We had to leave, we were shocked.

I am so tremendously angry that they destroyed my country. My girl said "it's like that video of Mall of America, and seeing only Somalis." we didn't think it could happen here and not this fast. I can't believe it!

I need them out of my country. I will vote for anyone, with any policies to get these mother fuckers out of my country. Why did our politicians do this to us? I don't understand it, they have children and grandchildren too, why would they do this to our country?

I am a 1 issue voter from now until I die.

Last time I was there and tried to play the Star Trek TNG table, they had some fucked up hacked ROM running on it that immediately started a 5-ball multiball the moment I pulled the trigger to begin play. None of the usual shots or modes behaved properly. It was physically and mechanically in good condition but whatever they did to that poor software is a shitshow.
