Maybe I am being too credulous and too forgiving of Tucker, but I do see a difference between the idea that his father "worked in conjunction with the CIA," which is what Tucker said in 2024, and the reality that his father actually was a CIA agent, which is what Tucker claims he learned this year.
But I am not naive, and know that this level of explanation can be seen as cope, and as a losing argument - I see how rhetorically it is a win for Nicholas, and it does make Tucker sound dishonest, or at least stupid.
