Confederate hate is somewhat culturally tolerated masked hatred for Whites and the United States. If their monuments, statues and memory are to be desecrated, destroyed and vilified the Founding Fathers and the very foundation of the country is next.

It's more than that. Confederate hate is a way for weak, cowardly men on the left to play at being brave. Every man, deep in his heart, needs to feel like he's not a coward. For the leftist, imagining that if he had been alive in the 19th century, he would have been far more bloodthirsty and savage than that wimp, Ulysses S Grant, or that pussy, William T Sherman is his way of convincing himself he's not a coward. He fantasizes that he and his noodle-armed, rainbow-haired Dork Brigade would have shot Grant in the back, refused to accept Lee's surrender, and then marched all over Dixie, bayoneting every last Confederate man and executing their families by firing squad.
He fantasizes that after four years of blood, fire, filth, and disease, instead of being like those cowardly Union soldiers of history, who were probably racists anyway, he wouldn't have been tired of war. He wouldn't have wanted to go home. He'd just be getting started. His righteous breast would be all the more filled with anger on behalf of black man, enraged by the centuries of oppression, furious at the treason of the secessionists, and he would be so thirsty for blood that the final body count of the American Civil War would have been in the millions, with perhaps ten thousand or so dead by his own bayonet.
Desecrating graves and tearing down statues is his way of feeling like he really would have been that violent had he only gotten the chance to be born in 1837 instead of 1989. It gives him enough endorphins that he no longer feels like weak little faggot who never goes to the gym, doesn't own a gun, and jumps at his own shadow.
