I actually didn't see anything about the M&S thing at all in the Rowling thread. Shit, all I see is mentions of it and nobody explains what the fuck is going on, like everybody just expects people to know. Someone please fill me in.
It was the Wu thread. The search function is your friend. (Literally just "rowling" and "bra".) That isn't all the drama about it on here but I'm assuming you're an adult and can figure out how to find more information.

I don't know where else to post this, but this has clearly been coming for a while, and I noticed only because of the very long pause between the last 'season' and the current. Today I opened the first episode of the latest season of The Technical Difficulties, a series I've listened to and watched for a long time; watched ten seconds, paused agawk, took a screenshot, closed it, deleted it.

What the fuck this is.

Yes, he's wearing makeup. In the most basic way mind you- the Cleopatra eyes.

Fuck you, Tom Scott, you insalabrious fuck. You and your handmaiden ways have paved another man's way to Hell. May you burn in it as well. Another insecure nerd is doomed to an early death, and the most stomach-turning part of it is how his peers are forced to go along with it, smiling.

"I'm so sick of this crybully charade" OH THE IRONY!

Is he seriously without a hint of irony asserting that a teen girl must allow men access to her in a vulnerable setting or else she's a BIGOT?

Troons just don't get it. Normies are onto you freaks. BIGOT and TRANSPHOBE aren't the weapons they used to be, you can no longer club women over the head with them to get your way.

A little girl is a bigot? Good for her. Anyone who's paying attention and sees these weirdos for what they are (entitled, pornsick MEN) is a bigot according to them.

Speaking as a former teen girl, we all develop an unease around grown men as soon as we reach the age where we can feel their eyes on us in a certain way. That girl was just listening to her gut, she knew immediately there was something dangerous about this man. Starting with his eagerness to get access to her breasts, I mean what the fuck dude. That's awkward even if it's a woman salesperson!

I say this to "Sophie" with all sincerity: kill yourself, pervert.

I apologize if this is outside the scope of this thread, but since it intersects with a lot of trans related cows and because it's driving enough peak mass of drama it seemed to be worth mentioning.

This all started when The Telegraph posted this article
about an incident where a 14 year old girl was at a UK department store to get her first bra fitting done and the store employee who came to assist her was a trans woman.

Text under spoilers:
Marks & Spencer has apologised to a mother for causing her teenage daughter “distress” after she was asked if she needed help by a transgender employee in its bra section.

The retailer said it was “truly sorry” after the mother complained that her 14-year-old daughter had felt uncomfortable when they were approached by a trans shop assistant in the lingerie area of the shop, where they were hoping to have a bra fitting.

Although the staff member was polite, the mother said she felt it was “completely inappropriate” for her daughter to be approached by a “biological male” in that section.

In a complaint to M&S, she told the retailer: “Imagine her horror, then, when the person to approach us and ask if we needed help was a transgender ‘woman’, ie, a biological male.

“This is obviously the case: he is at least 6ft 2in tall... My daughter recoiled, so I politely declined the offer and we left immediately. She was visibly upset and said she felt ‘freaked out’.”

‘Truly sorry’
The following day, an M&S customer service assistant replied, apologising for the incident.

“Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing your experience,” the email said. “We deeply regret the distress your daughter felt during her visit to our store.

“We understand how important this milestone is for her, and we are truly sorry that it did not go as you had hoped.”

The retailer said it took her concerns “very seriously” and would ensure her daughter “receives assistance from a female colleague during her next visit”.

“We want to make this experience as comfortable and positive as possible for her. Please let us know when you plan to visit again, and we will make the necessary arrangements,” the email said.

The Supreme Court ruled earlier this year that trans women can be excluded from women-only spaces because equality law refers to biological sex.

Britain’s highest court ruled that transgender women are not legally women, and that “sex” in equality law refers only to biological sex.

The incident in M&S, in March, came a few weeks before the ruling.

The mother argued that the retailer’s reply fell “significantly short of the response that was required to satisfy me that M&S takes seriously the safety and dignity of women and girls”.

The mother, who asked to remain anonymous, said that the retailer had acknowledged “this colleague is not female” but this was “not sufficient to offer just my daughter the protection of not being approached by him”.

She asked the retailer for confirmation that it would not happen to any other teenagers, and that M&S would implement a policy to ensure that transgender staff would not approach young women.

It is understood that the staff member involved works across the clothing section as well as other parts of the shop and is not one of the staff who carry out bra fittings.

‘Entirely inappropriate’
Fiona McAnena, director of campaigns for the human rights charity Sex Matters, which campaigns for clarity about biological sex in law and life, said that M&S needed to “rethink its priorities”.

“This is what happens when a business centres the feelings of men who identify as women, even at the expense of their own customers. It is entirely inappropriate for a man to approach a teenage girl in a lingerie department.

“Being dressed in women’s clothes doesn’t change that. It’s extraordinary that a man would regard himself as entitled to do such a thing; most men know how unwelcome that would be.

“M&S needs to rethink its priorities and remember that women and girls have rights too, and that this man should not be permitted to hang around in the women’s underwear department as a matter of common decency.”

An M&S spokesman: “We want our stores to be inclusive and welcoming places for our colleagues and customers.

“We have written to this customer and explained that our colleagues typically work across all departments in our stores and customers can always ask to speak to the colleague they feel most comfortable with.”

Here is the TLDR, the mother's story and the department store's response:

Immediately, TRAs called for a boycott of the store for not supporting the trans employee (see the very sane tweets of Sophie Molly) and Twitter TERFs, including the Queen TERF, called for a boycott of the store for having a trans employee who worked near the lingerie section.

M&S apologises over black employee in bra department

First, it is not my intention to offend with this post, I have simply replaced one protected characteristic with another to make a point. It hits very differently for a less current moral panic group. Although it is not that long ago that this story could have also been in the Telegraph.

(some of it reads a bit wrong and I did not want to do too much editing, but I'm sure everyone gets the point.)

Biological black person’ caused a mother and teenage daughter ‘distress’ by approaching them in the lingerie area

Bodies defying the Supreme Court’s race ruling

British Medical Association

“We condemn the Supreme Court ruling defining the term woman with respect to the Equality Act as being based on biological race.”

National Education Union

“Thanks to the Equality Act 2010 we can use correct gendered facilities – anyone enforcing discriminatory policy on black people is breaking the law.”

Refuge

“We will not change our approach – we remain firmly committed to supporting all survivors of domestic abuse, including black women.”

University and College Union

“Black women should be allowed to use women’s facilities and black men should be allowed to use men’s lavatories.”

Fire Brigades Union

“The interim guidance is unworkable, unhelpful and will only lead to an increase in discrimination for workers.”

Bristol Old Vic

“We want to reassure our black visitors, staff and artists that you are welcome here – we continue to welcome everyone to use the facilities that are most appropriate for them.”

More than 1,000 cultural leaders, in an open letter

“We are unable and unwilling to police the race of people using our toilets.”

North London NHS Foundation Trust

“There are no immediate changes planned to our policies.”

Troons are truly the blight on this society. Everyday we stray further from God and I lament the current state of society. The current fiasco with M&S is a perfect reminder to the world as a whole that this has to be stopped and we need to stop pandering to these freaks. Zero reflection on their own behaviors and perpetual victimhood.

This is so insidious. It's mutilation stemming from extreme self loathing. They're framing it as a net positive, calling the violence she visited upon her body 'affirming'. This desensitization towards (or worse, celebration of) all manner of perversion is disturbing. What's next? Normalizing amputation fetishes? CSA?

The Overton Window is moving though. This needs to go away forever.

Trans maniacs know we can't hate them more than they hate themselves. I suspect for some of them, imposing upon others and causing discomfort is a way for them to get petty revenge. Because they begrudge us for not being similarly afflicted. Like 'I despise myself and suffer for it, why do normies get to live good lives?' Rage, bitterness, jealousy, malice.

Love it, I imagine the cold sweat dripping down the managers' and the HR people when they realize that the trannies they hired purely for virtue signaling purposes are now ticking PR bombs that can go off at any second.

I feel conflicted about the bra section troon story. If he only asked them if they needed help, it’s possible he would’ve went to go get someone else for a fitting if that’s what they needed. He has the self-awareness of a botfly if he thought approaching a 14-year-old girl in the bra section was a good idea in this political climate…or ever. Were they right in the middle of section or on the edge? Maybe it was a genuine misunderstanding, but I’m not inclined to give troons the benefit of the doubt.

I think some of this is just pent-up rage at troons in general, and people are ready to speak their minds about it now with the backing of the government and public opinion, so they’re ready to go from 0-100 in a heartbeat and ask questions later. It doesn’t help that troons are labeling this “hysteria” though.

Can you work at that place with a criminal record? I’d give anything to know his name and Reddit account.

To be honest, I agree the more I look into it.

Like if the TIM in question did in fact offer to do a bra fitting then ew gross, but it also sounds plausible from the sources we do have that he was just doing the thankless retail task of offering help to people who clearly don't need it. The store's response also sounds very generic PR.

I'm also not sure what the mother is genuinely hoping to get out of all this. Like outrage and maybe a gift card?

TIMs do enough real bad shit, no need to blow things out of proportion, ya know? And as much as we hate them, they still need to work.

On the other hand, I’ve been that 14-year-old girl who’s uncomfortable with bra shopping, and if some dude had wandered over to me in Sears, I would’ve been mortified. And now it’s an international news story—even better! Poor kid.

Can’t feel too bad for the guy though, troons have been (very successfully!!!!) gunning for people’s jobs for a while now. Maybe this will inspire trans activists to focus on protections in the workplace and housing, not raping women in prisons.

For me it's the opposite. The more I think about it the more plausible it is that he was being creepy.

Guys in general don't even want to be seen in the women's section in supermarkets, let alone near women's underwear. sections without a woman with them because we all know it would be creepy to be seen alone checking those out.

Also. It's a little girl isn't it? Who in their right mind would approach the kid and not the mother instead? Hell, you don't even have to approach either, just holler at them and say "need anything miss?".

Most employees will also ask you if you need anything in general, they'll never ask for specifics because the customer will be the one to do that. If they are in the underwear section then you can just wait until they look at you or they approach you instead.

The most generous guess I could give is that he approached the girl because he probably thought that she wouldn't be judgemental and just wanted to feel "normal", completely ignoring that he is Goliath compared to that girl.

See, that’s what I was thinking, that maybe they were looking around and trying to make eye contact with an employee to get help and that’s who spotted them first. And sometimes those departments kinda blend together, so I don’t know how obvious it was that they needed help with bras.

I wouldn’t bet money on the guy being totally innocent, I’ve read too many r/MTFs excitedly talking about their daughters’ periods and breast development. Some of them very clearly hone in on the innocent and take advantage of the situation. I just think it’s also possible that the store needed anyone with a pulse in that general area of the store.

A 6'4, 200 lb black man states there is no proper way to "present" as non binary. It's easy for him to say, as his height and weight alone puts off the homies, whereas a female enby enjoys no such protections. Male embies don't do anything to their appearance, bar wearing bad makeup (Alok Maid-Venon), and just cruise off male power and privilege to get what they want. Link / Archive
