It's one thing to not love a child and not realize that youre abusive. It's a whole other thing to admit to yourself what kind of shitty parent you are. The latter thing is something a lot of horrendous abusive parents are fighting with. They are blaming it on their children because theyre mentally incapable of owning up to their on mistakes and take responsebility.
Both Mike and Heather are psychopaths or even sadistists.

The sadder part of this is that I feel therapy might help if authorities ultimately fail, but unfortunately Heather might somehow make it not an option. Mike is an asshole, don't get me wrong, but it just feels like Heather is much more manipulative or at least tries to be with her stupid fake crying when it only involves something in regards with her, but shows no mercy when it's about the kids. If they do try therapy it will be only for show to Heather. Basically if Heather is out of the picture they might actually be able to fix a few things, despite Mike still being scum.

I mostly agree with this except for the fact I think Mike may qualify as disabled, at least in his current untreated mental illness state. I can't imagine any job he could actually hold down. Even his video editing is abysmal (my guess is because he had no patience to learn even basic techniques). I know he's a piece of garbage but sincerely I do hope he gets help, if only so he can have a better life accomplishment than creating a popular YouTube channel based on child abuse.

Without Heather I don't know what financial stability the family has unless someone else can step in, or if they can restart the channel on a new image.

That's why earlier I had the thought of Heather quite possibly also manipulating Mike on top of the kids.

On the heels of what I was saying, I also get weird vibes from the way Jake the oldest interacts around Emma. I remember reading some comments speculating whether or not he's tried to touch her. I may be reaching but the way he acts around her is genuinely uncomfortable to watch and it would explain some of her more fragile reactions to her environment. She just seems either really timid or terrified out of her mind whenever the camera is on her. I dunno man. Jake's a major creep and he seems to get just as much joy in tormenting his youngest siblings as his parents do.

yeah, i doubt it. CPS doesn't just hand out personal info to anyone unless they have to, and even then, they don't want to give anyone involved any information either. IF they were told anything, it was likely just to get them to stop e-mailing them since they have nothing to do with the case.

He'd probably stay with Heather just because of her income. Mike doesn't seem to be very fiscally responsible based solely on the fact that he didn't think twice about smashing up a ps4 or an xbox or a tablet (and god knows what else he smashed that belonged to the kids) and just buying new ones, and constantly buying toys and electronics for himself. Probably pissed the money away every month and left just enough aside to pay for the house and any bills. He'd need her paycheck just to keep a roof over his head since practically his entire family wants nothing to do with him.

I just don't see him having it in himself to put people in the positions he's been in. If he stays in Mike's care I can see him turning 17 or 18 and beating the fuck out of his dad. If anything at all, he might take it out on himself and kill himself.
