Has anyone considered maybe that Mike might be being abused as well? Heather is responsible for all the business decisions and finances. Spousal abuse can also include financial abuse. He comes across as a big kid, emotionally stunted and not very smart. Cody often outperforms his fathers intellect considering the honest and insightful things he says...

Obviously this wouldn't absolve Mike of his role in the abuse of the kids, just something to think about.

I think this is probably true. I think Mike is more stupid than he is malicious, and his ex wife doesn't mention abuse their children (though as I read in Nicks first article, he still did stupid pranks, though more harmless and annoying).

He contributed nothing financially to the first household either.

Speaking of Jake, whenever I hear the parents mention," The channel was the kids idea," I can't help but think it was likely entirely Jake's idea. He's much to invested in the camera holding and production of the videos vs the others. The children other than Cody, for the most part, are completely in the sidelines or are afterthoughts within the videos. Jakes also been at that age for a while to think "ITS A PRANK BRUH" shows are super cool and want to do one themselves. The other kids were probably just going along with it when it was brought up and agreed.

Jake's behavior feels pretty disturbing to me. He's more aggressive than kids at his age typically are and he displays almost sociopathic levels of not giving a shit when it comes to tormenting his smaller weaker siblings. If anything, he gets off on it.

What I hate the most is that these kids seem to have no distinct sibling bond with each other. They're all out to backstab each other with no remorse whatsoever. In a shitty family situation like this, it would be a useful coping strategy if they were to find comfort in a strong relationship with each other. But since mom and dad are such assholes, they've basically created a Darwinistic environment of survival in which the kids all clobber each other so that they have the chance to avoid future torture.

actually no, this guy has the unfortunate coincidence of having picked a url handle in 2009 before Mike Martin ever started the channel. What the youtuber did was not actually do thorough enough a job of trying to dox someone, and thus himself possibly complicating any investigation that may be ongoing.

I'm not gonna lie, nothing would make me happier than to see Jake cry like a little bitch. I think they have footage of just about every single kid crying and screaming except Jake (and maybe Ryan, who is almost a non-entity at this point. Nobody gives a fuck about Ryan).

I just hate that smug little turd-sucker. Probably because he's blatantly the favorite. He's the Golden Child and can do no wrong, and he seems dumb as a post on top of that. He gleefully participates in the deliberate ripping of any kind of family structure. He reminds me way too much of actual kids I knew and went to school with who grew up and became nothing, but made sure to make everybody else around them miserable on the way.
