As always, you have a point in there.
I realize a lot of users (including myself) are allowing ourselves to get outraged, and actions meant to help Cody could easily backfire and put him in a more dire situation, one where he doesn't get an XBox in exchange for getting his head fucked with, and that stoking moral outrage can blind people to the negative consequences of what they're doing. Also there's a lot of responses that are just people saying "I'm mad about this sort of thing."
I don't really think there's anything we can actually do about this anyway, as we're not law enforcement or lawyers, so let's just continue to document this and not flood the police with calls about this, since there's probably several others doing the exact same thing and not accomplishing much except taking up precious police time.
So everybody getting mad at Dynastia, CatParty and Cuck Norris, just, like, chill, okay man?

Ultimately child protective services will have to make the final call and pestering them is just going to make them less likely to intervene. They have the videos, anyone who tries to yell at them further is basically interfering with a police investigation.

People phone child protection because their neighbors kids are too noisy. They get so many spurious calls per day from randoms, they are probably about as aware of the situation as they are going to get. Cody won't be jumping to the front of the line just because he's YouTube famous and these things take so long to get anywhere people will have forgotten about him by the time anything happens.

Just because you have additional family doesn't mean you're going to be taken care of or loved by them. If they were so great, they wouldn't have lost custody of their kids to Mike in the first place.
Can you imagine a family that is so bad, the courts would rather give custody of you to Daddy of Five? Because that's what Cody and whats-her-name left. They should be thankful to have a bed and an xbox and a hot meal, and not a drug addict insane mother who seriously thinks people will believe a white trash redneck forged documents to take away her welfare babies.
Taking care of children is hard work. Most people, even good and loving extended family, won't take in some kid even if they're cute, let alone some fat faced ginger. People won't dedicate years of their lives - maybe even their entire lives - caring for kids that they have no ties to other than some diluted blood. If people actually did that, we wouldn't have a foster care system that Cody will soon be raped and then murdered in because people can't handle a couple pranks.

Not quite, Dynastia. You're still a provacative dick specifically looking to rustle autistic jimmies and you were probably raised by dingos so your perspective on what makes for a good family environment is dodgy at best.
But even with your contrarian antics, you do manage to bring up valid points.
I can tell you from personal experience that courts give custody to unfit parents all the time. A pair of narcissists will not be afraid to lie, exaggerate, and coach their children in order to prove the other parent is unfit, and often one of the biggest deciding factors is income. But parents having a stable financial income does not make for good parenting: in fact, many of these parents will use the exact same arguments in order to convince the children to put up with it, including telling them that foster care will 100% get them raped or murdered.
Honestly, I'm getting pretty sick of this having to be a debate at all, especially because it's derailing the thread. You want to argue about what is and isn't abuse, then you can make your own thread on it. I'll be deleting further posts on the subject just so that it doesn't turn into further baiting and raging. It's useless arguing with people who are mostly just egging users on for an emotional reaction. Hence why @wagglyplacebo insists the thread is full of Codys.
Let's focus on documenting the family and stay hands off, shall we?

She didn't lose custody, she gave Mike custody of Cody to see if a change in scenery would help him. Courts have a bias against mothers who do this, making it easier for Mike and Heather to take Emma.
