With the insane scale that Roblox is operating, on the level of 1/10th of the planet's population or so, it's extremely unlikely that they can innovate a brand new solution nobody's come up with before. So far the only things I can even think about that would work are:
1. KILL ALL UGC. Complete fucking scorched earth on every avatar. No more curvy leg models. No more porn lip faces. No more furshit or fetish shit. Delete all skin color tones. Write a script to detect when players' avatars are forcibly given a skin color tone ingame, and flag every game that allows changing avatars to have skin color tones. Everybody uses yellow now. Profits will plummet to rock-bottom but I don't fucking care. Roblox seriously thinks they can sift through the endless slop that literal tens of thousands of pedophiles are gonna be uploading to their platform? Fuck no they can't. Even a 20% opacity image of porn gets through their fucking filters. They're not innovating their way past this.
2. Change parental controls from blacklists to whitelists, then have curated child-friendly content lists that the community can vote on. Make it work like Reddit or whatever, where the more trusted users have a stronger vote, so that pedophiles can't just bot brainrotted whitelists to the top. The goal is to have whitelists full of non-dogshit, non-condo, non-gambling games for children to enjoy without losing their minds.

Actually, that reminds me. I haven't touched the platform since around 2012, maybe. Has Roblox ever allowed people to make a formal list of games before? Any sort of built-in playlist, of any kind? That would've been a nice feature to have back then, so that people could actually have some sense of goddamn community. But unfortunately, Roblox has always despised the idea of maintaining a real community. Since 2006 those Californian scumbags have all been either too autistic or too sociopathic to care about community, or real-life harm. Utterly soulless filth. Investigate them all.

*The Avatar Editor
*Saved custom outfits
*Whispers

This means that it's much more difficult to load up NSFW in MeepCity now; people are being forced to use their main avatars and groomers can't privately message kids inside that game anymore.

Considering that MeepCity was named directly by Roblox in that seminar, it's more likely that the little rats at Roblox HQ started scurrying around in a panic and had suddenly demanded alexnewtron to remove the abused features. Working directly with him with a list of demands, most likely so as to prevent local level news journalists from getting new footage of MeepCity abuse and preventing the stocks from tanking harder.

The fucker had nearly a decade to kill those features off for good; we have very very little reason to believe he truly cares about safety over profits.

I do not get why this isn’t a thing (well I do, it’s so all this can happen) but a whitelist is essential. Let me check a game and tick it as useable. Also they need to allow per friend request parental approvals too. And per friend chat.

Because the company wants to lure minors into games that require real money to purchase or buy items in, draining parents wallets.
If parents have to greenlight certain games first the chances of that working will be minimal.

The entire business model relies on exploiting children.

It is a failure of epic proportions that nearly 30 years after online gaming became a mainstream activity for teenagers the legislation still has not regulated game content and business models to protect players, children in particular, from exploitative practices, FOMO and gambling addiction.
