Much more likely it’s the disruption of the old equilibrium that allows the brain to finding a new one.

This was an important occasion for Sophie, but not important enough apparently for a hair wash. The stringy bangs kill me every time. This short video does show the bra, and HRT did not do much for him - a fitting was only necessary for their outrage and AGP.
