This is fucking sick. Cody is going to murder them, kill himself, or both. I hope someone gets him out of there.

Jake's assaults on Cody are by far the hardest to watch. Cody is literally screaming to the point of shooting out his voice and the dad does jack fucking shit about it. Just once I wish Jake's smugass face would get clobbered by someone bigger than him. Then he would know what it feels like to be beaten up with no way to fight back.
I wonder how the girls at school must feel about these videos. It must take a big man to beat up a small child.
"If they're bothering you, just do stuff back."

"... do stuff back [so I can give you shit for it]."
They're not allowed to fight back, there are repercussions for self defense in this home. Hell, there are repercussions for trying to walk away to find a quiet space to just be alone and cry.
It's clear that Mike and Heather clearly don't love Cody. I'm saying that sincerely.
Jake can drag Cody and try to lock him in a dark room as Cody screams for help and get a slap on the wrist from Mike, buy Cody touches something and he gets screamed at.
I hope to god that Jake and Cody go to separate homes if they get taken by CPS cuz Jake is a little version of his dad.
Where'd you get that from? The father of Jake and the other two boys is presently trying to get custody of them since this has come to light. I don't think they will be put into a placement at all, let alone together.
It was from an update video on YouTube. I posted it a couple pages back.Where'd you get that from?

Abusive people often refuse to admit to themselves they're abusers.I don't think they know what love is, and tough love is the closest it gets for this family. Foster homes and group homes are always a last resort. They will always try to find a stable family member to place them with first.

I wouldn't even treat an animal like this. If these kids were dogs or horses, there probably would have been criminal charges laid already. I find it unsettling that there are greater protections for animals than children in a lot of states.
That's one for the quote ticker @Null.We did it.
We've reached the point where we're A-Logging a minor.
And nobody feels bad about it.
To be honest, I don't see how Cody has special needs. I see this as Mike and Heather trying to figure out why he screams so much when his brothers come into his room and beat him up. He actually seems to be one of the most intelligent and well put together ones in the house.i think the reason they don't like Cody is because of his disabilities. neither mike nor heather are probably capable of handling a child with mental disorders and have no intention of learning how to help him. so they turn to aggression and resentment since they're terrible parents.
and you can see in many videos that emma and cody stick up for one another (in the one where one of the stepbrothers slaps emma in the face, cody threw something at him when he realized she was crying, and i remember seeing another clip where emma confronted everyone and asked why they always picked on cody and they just laughed at her). so emma probably gets shit because she's the only one in the family who sticks up for cody.
