Do we even have any indication that Bethesda gives a shit about this mess as long as they get a cut of the check? I thought that they just handed off the IP to some hack so they could make a half-assed show and get paid for it, just like with all those Netflix shows nobody cares about. I think Emil is still more butthurt about how mocked his shitty story in Starfield was and how he got ripped apart for having no central design document for anything in that game.

Cree can make good vids whenever he isnt talking about the fallout show, fallout 3 or fallout 4.
If hes talking about new vegas or a shitty mod like the frontier he can make a pretty good and entertaining video but once he starts talking about bethesda fallout its just talking in circles and hitting the same dead horses for multiple hours.
This is the same dude who already had an 8 hour video explaining why fallout 3 was bad in response to a many a true nerd video and then put out a 6 hour video just a few days ago, actual retardation.

Hard disagree, Fallout 3 is a low hanging fruit but the game and it's writing are broken on such fundamental levels that the discussion is ripe for it. We can spend hours pointing out the obvious because that's how fucking much there is to talk about, and how deep the rot goes when it infects every single facet of the game, and of course the conversation just goes on for longer when idiots try to defend this in any way since they're usually morons that go in circles and you have to correct them even more. Think: the Megaton food discussion here that ended with people defending it either getting bored of the discussion(ADHD) or shrugging their hands and coping that writing in Fallout never made sense so why should they care, not proving that even the most basic bit of worldbuilding makes any sense on any level. This is just level 1 of the discussion, the very first thing that you see when you come out of the Vault, there is an entire game's worth of problems to discuss outside of that, so yes, 6 hours it is.

Bethesda shows they don't care about canon, and it's not even exclusive to Fallout. Look what they did to The Elder Scrolls, their own franchise. They will do whatever the hell they want, and why shouldn't they? Their fans clearly don't care, either.

No im not watching a 6 hour long video about fallout 3 because im not retarded enough to wanna waste 6 hours listening to shit i already know but with 4 hours of talking in circles to seem smart and cool. I like fallout 3 because it was the game that got me into fallout back when i was 12/13. I enjoyed it because it was my first bethesda open world so i have a lot of nostalgia for it and its setting. I have fond memories of multiple side quests and the dlcs but none of the main story and as i got older and learned more about fallout lore from other entries the more it made less sense.

The main story has an issue of being written for anything but an open world rpg as there is very little you can actually do to role play unless you wanna be a heartless bastard or Jesus the lone wanderer, the enclave while looking cool and JHE being a neat idea also have nothing to do in the game besides being an enemy faction for you to fight (and hiding a bobblehead you can permanently miss) plus the enclave power armor in 3 looks like shit compared to how it looks in new vegas. Nowadays i can still enjoy my time playing fallout 3 but really the high points come from stuff like point lookout (love the repeater rifles), side quests like Oasis or Trouble on the homefront and even operation anchorage (yeah im one of those people who like the cod campaign dlc that breaks the games balance due to unbreakable power armor reward.) I also really hate how fallout 3 treats power armor as nothing but "end game level armor" which isnt helped by how shit power armor looks and feels in 3/nv compared to 1/2/4/76.

I know what i dont like from fallout 3 i dont need to watch 6-8 hour videos that say shit i already know.

I think people aren't watching him because his 10 min video on the trailer is fucking pointless and mindless(Guarantee you that in that hour, Creetosis actually made some good points somewhere along the line) and because futa man actually had a little bit of his own Fallout within his community and there is just less people watching him, a lot less in fact. This is all his doing, and if he had any talent he would be evolving his content to catch the algorithm wave, not just whining about it. You joke, but Starfield might be a textbook example of how NOT to make a video game. As a game design and balance autist, Starfield endlessly fascinates me since pointing out what they wrong leads to a discussion on how to fix it or how it went wrong, which could actually be used to teach upcoming game developers vital, sometimes elementary lessons. Like, say, always start with a central design document before anything else. Hell, I'm tempted to write one for my mock space RPG just to piss all over Emil even more.

I like to meme that Outer Worlds is a better game, and while that is true there is little catharsis to be had since pretty much all Starfield fandoms are dead. Believe me, I harassed a few but it's kind of pointless when there is nobody to really bully, some like Starfield General on /vg/ now has more detractors than regular posters who fight over who gets to bully the last few remaining retards keeping it alive. Where is the fun in that? No, this is why my fascination with Starfield lies with just what went wrong and how it doesn't work, sadly not a lot of people care to document cut content to help that effort and I can't be bothered to waste over 100GB to pirate it myself and datamine if I am not going to play it, so it's mostly 9 hour long video essays to go thru. Fallout 76 is kind of like this as well, but the answer is mostly simple: it's the multiplayer, stupid, all they had to do was make it offline and add NPCs. You have to dig really deep to micro analyse every flaw that game has to get anything good out of it as far as what I am looking for, meanwhile Starfield has about as many flaws as it has planet, so it's a buffet of criticism. Fallout 3 on the other hand is a really acquired taste, as it has been pointed out the main issues most people know about have been discussed for years, but they go even deeper when you look into it, so the finest center of the Fallout 3 shit sundae only lies to the most dedicated who will go out of their way to look for it, as I put it the remaining 2%.

Lanius may be a ruthless animal but he is not stupid - he faced logistical problems in his past campaigns and understands how much they can cripple an entire nation. By saying "you can't take the West without losing the East" you explain that even if Legion takes the dam they will face the same issues NCR does and risk being destroyed in the long run; its simply better for Legate to retreat and prepare better rather than to risk another embarsassment at the hands of NCR, something that Lanius, a man obsessed with achieving victory, realizes only now.
Oh, and if you as much use the word "retreat" he'll say "fuck you bitch" and fight you.
