Kendra Noel Manning, 25, a social media influencer, was arrested Sunday for allegedly threatening to plant a bomb at last weekend's San Japan Anime + Gaming Convention at the Henry B. Gonzalez Center. (PHOTO: Bexar County Jail)



SAN ANTONIO - A 25-year-old woman was arrested Sunday after police said she threatened to plant a bomb at the San Japan Anime + Gaming Convention, held last weekend at the Henry B. González Convention Center.

San Antonio Police charged Kendra Noel Manning, 25, a social media influencer, with making a terroristic threat to impair public service, a third-degree felony.

The arrest report states that Manning replied to an Instagram story posted by another booth renter, writing “planting a bomb in their booth today” in reference to her dislike of the gaming nutrition company Gamer Supps.

Another attendee, concerned the threat could be real, alerted convention management, who in turn contacted police.



Officers barred Manning from entering and issued a criminal trespass warning.

Police said the comments and behavior sparked real safety concerns and left people worried that a mass violence event could break out. Manning later acknowledged making the post before leaving the venue.

Manning posted a $35,000 bond.

If convicted, Manning could face up to 10 years in prison. The case remains under investigation.

Exactly yeah. The intersection of "women" and "IEDs" is one so unlikely that I'm not even sure it exists in the rural areas where boys grow up making pipe bombs & bang-snap-katamaris.

I mean she certainly looks medicated enough to throw a pressure cooker bomb or something together. The more I look at it though, I just don't see the Kirsche/troon angle. We know she cosplayed. I think it honestly was a brand deal thing she was mad at. She might have gotten turned down by a gamer supps sponsor, idk?

Schizos gonna schizo. I doubt there's a deeper reason that that. I'll be very upset if an actual potential female hardware engineer threw her life away like this, though.

Probably couldn't get a partnership and/or drink with them. Sakimichan's booth people had a similar conversation with a few con-goers on this last Friday. Gamer Supps mostly looks at YouTubers, live, and vtuber streamers for partnerships. Non streamers like artists, Sakimichan for example, are not in their wheelhouse.

Its a company of/by/for selling overpriced caffinated & overly sugared protein powder to anime-brained gooners who have never seen the inside of a gym. Its like any overpriced anime-loser catering business.
Like i hate they exist and would stop being friends with anyone I knew who ordered their products, but I don't get getting bent out of shape over them as Don't Buy It, Don't Drink It, don't Click their Referral Links.

My assumption is they are very bad booth neighbors, and I think this is more about the convention having a zero tolerance policy for "violent rhetoric" and them opting to press charges (until the con is over) to get her kicked out and probably a longer ban then any serious possibility she'd roll up with a snuke.

Booth people? Is that what it sounds like? This bitch has her own booth that she doesn't even run on her own has her staff complaining about not getting a partnership? How stupid do you have to be that a company isn't interested in sponsoring an art account? "Boy, I sure love gooning to this art I sure wish there was powder drink mix to wash it down."

From what I heard she never contacted them about it and neither did GamerSupp contacting her. Since neither of them operate in the same wheelhouse.

My only real beef with them is that they try to market themselves as some sort of healthy nutrition supplement.

But a quick look at their ingredients shows that they're about as bad as most energy drinks, with tons of caffeine and taurine.

GFuel is the same. They market themselves as basically Gatorade, but they're closer to a Monster or Red Bull. Very, very bad for you in large quantities.

Since when have caffeine and taurine been bad for you? And I mean for most people, since some hypersensitives will straight up die from a 200mg caffeine dose. It's the sweeteners, stupid!

It's likely because of kirsche. She's sponsored by them but one of many, no different from any other v-tuber. However she's been made public enemy #1 by leftists and trannies as the foxgirl alt right pipeline where they tried to cancel her and bring down gamer supps for their support of her.
