Does anyone see Neville Longbottom and notice a striking resemblance to classic Chris?

Is Chris aware that he does not fit into the beauty standards of our time ? I know he's very stupid and incapable of remembering faces, much less full bodies, and has an over-inflated ego, but is he even aware that he's fat, or at the very least unattractive ? He keeps hyping himself up as a highly desirable woman, so obviously he has a warped self-image, but does he realize that he's more a 1 than a 10 ?

Chris has no self awareness what so ever. So no, he doesn't know that.

He has even mentioned to people how he had to stare in a mirror often to remember what he looks like.

Yes I know that. What I wonder is if he at least views himself as "tappable" instead of "super hot".

He's mentioned in mumble chats how Barb used to tell him how handsome he is all the time, and that when he looked at himself in the mirror he also thinks he's handsome, yet also thought "if i'm so handsome how come I don't have a girlfriend?" He's said that to Julay who at the time was his girlfriend, to which Blue said "but i'm your girlfriend now!" and he was like "oh um yeah, thats right"

Of course. He doesn't know beauty from ugly, only "how close does someone look like people from TV."

However, as soon as the possible opportunity of some fine China comes his way (like he thinks there is in that picture) all those demands soon go out the window.

I think we think about those "demands" wrong. Any of us can describe our "ideal woman/man". And I think that exercise is pretty close to what Chris does when he lists his sweetheart demands. What makes it typically Chris is a) the fact that he primarily borrows stereotypes of attractiveness without really pondering what would make a woman ideal for him (i.e. a nerdy girl into comics and vidya) and b) he just blasts every little whim out into the world like a demand.

I'm gonna call a longshot and maybe say Chris might sudden feel relief when that toxic old broad kicks it and grows up a little. I've seen that happen to a few manchildren.

I doubt he will feel "relieved". Him and Barb are very close, and if you look at how he reacted to Bob's death, or even Patti's, he does feel a strong sense of loss when he loses one of the few living things who he feels close to.

Also, based on precedent, as soon as she is gone Chris will immediately forget all of the negative things she brings to his life and focus only on the things he misses. A combination of his general whiny attitude and the natural reaction we all have when we lose a loved one.

He may well have a "nicer" life after he settles in to his post-Barb routine, but his dominant emotion will be a sense of loss.

can someone explain to me how chris exactly was found eligible for social security disability insurance? i am on it myself and had a work history of 2 years, 7 months and 3 weeks and started recieving monthly payments of $822 a month. in total i worked about 3,500 hours in that timespan.
i highly doubt chris even worked 200 of the hours i worked and frankly from his resume, he seems to only have about 2-4 months worth of actual work experience. anyways, from my understanding, in order to be eligible for ssdi, you must have accumulated 6 work credits at the very least. (1 credit equals around 4.5 grand). how did chris manage to get on it with such a limited work history? did his dad forge fake work documents in order to get him on?

Is that shit still legit now Bob's fucking dead and Chris is in his 30s?!

"Welp you were a kid when you applied so you don't have to worry about the rules" sounds crazy as hell to me
Child as in the biological sense of "offspring". As long as Chris remains crippled and remains Bob's child, he qualifies for Social Security disability under Bob's work credits.

These are plans in place to make sure your family isn't screwed when you die.
