Can't have a reoccurring character be 'transphobic' or else you might risk the audience agree with them. Doesn't matter how much of a villain they are otherwise. Like that Chucky tv series, it's about a serial killer doll, but he respects pronouns gosh darn it!

Same difference. If Jax were the sociopath he's meant to be, he'd call Zooble 'her'. He's already been leveraging the dyke stereotypes, laughing when Zooble said she was a bartender tattoo artist IRL, and saying Zooble 'turns straight' when she holds her breath. But beyond that, he always says 'them' when talking about her in the second person.

And can we all take a step back and appreciate the cosmic irony that a brokedick tranny has accidentally stumbled into creating a straight couple with more genuine chemistry than anything even disney has made in years with Jax and Pomni, and everyone is terrified he's going to fuck it up by making jax gay/trans? And I do mean everyone: despite the show being queer bait, the comments on fanart and videos all have a pattern of tumbleristas quoting jax's "thats what everyone wants, a straight couple" line unironically, then awkwardly apologizing for homophobia. This tells me deep down even the hot topic crowd don't want gay/trans jax, which lmao if true. I do wonder if this is due to hazbin hotel creating so much gay fatigue its affecting other fanbases...

Don’t believe the propaganda. The vast majority of the loudest people on the internet , asking for “gay presentation” are straight. And they do it becuase that’s their fetish not because LGBT rights or whatever BS.


Yurifags and Fujoshi are opposite sides of the same coin. Straightness with extra steps.

There’s a reason most succesful couples in fiction are straight. Because the vast majority of people are straight, and like and relate to straight couples the most.

Zooble is probably closest to gooseworx in terms of personality, but he did say that every other character is himself to varying extents as well, you figure out which is which 'cause I wont.

ehhh I don't know about that, there's a ongoing trend in the wider about about "Daisy" (trans Jax) lately and it has been very VERY well received among those people because of course they do, I do wonder if that actually happens canonically, Jax would suddenly stop being an antagonist on the eyes of those people after six episodes of being built up, and that's a can of worms I'm not sure could be solved in 3 episodes unless you can just magically change your gender if you ask Caine nicely enough, which would be another anti-climax.

it would be really funny though to see another Glitch show suddenly screw up like this about 2/3rds of the way

I agree, which is why I'm so disapppinted in modern straight writers. Audiences are hungry for basic vanilla straight couples and it feels like no one is providing.

I honestly haven't heard of that daisy trend yet, then again I'm only coasting on the surface with shorts and tiktoks, and refuse to dive deeper into the fandom. The only reason I broughy up the shipping thing is because I just saw the jaxsuit pomni plush ad today, which is obvious bait for fans of that pairing. Thats why I doubt jax will turn out gay, since that would be putting an expiration date on the merchandise by making the orientation incompatible.

Him ending up transed is still a coinflip though, but heres hoping they do something more interesting with him. I agree it'd completely bulldoze his character. Zooble is already a trans alegory and the most boring character in the cast for it.
