This reminds me of an interaction I saw on Reddit the other day while looking for funny meltdowns. This redditor went on a multi-paragraph spiel about what it would take for the divide between the left and right to be mended... including this gem, "To reach this solution, we need to create spaces for genuine dialogue".

I wonder what he thinks it would take for that to happen on Peddit. The 24/7 online troons who just found out they won't be able to dominate moderation of hundreds of huge subs are already raging. Even if you removed them tomorrow, how long would it take to rebuild a sane userbase to counter the GloboHomo groupthink?

Honestly, I think it was just taken down because the ratings of Kimmel's show were god awful to begin with. So I think ABC & Disney saw it as the perfect opportunity to cancel it (on top of not dealing with the headaches of controversy, considering everything).

They were emboldened when they cheered Charlie's death, otherwise they wouldn't have done it. The situation is way past stairstep escalation if they are calling for our deaths from the top step.
