That was pretty clear from the time it was announced. “Silent Hill but in Japan” itself makes no sense.

The combat reportedly being "challenging but not exactly Soulslike" was such a retarded decision and I'm looking forward to seeing critics tear it apart. I'm sure that even among those who will end up enjoying f, this is going to sour the experience for some of them.

I'd like to know where you live that an older teenage girl is called a little girl. And the point is, the censorship looks so cheap. It's easier to not have a free moving camera because not once in SH3 did we even get close to an up skirt shot of Heather.

As for the sloppy censorship, they could just give her black shorts under the skirt, but IIRC CERO changed their politics at some point and now that is not enough to avoid a higher rating or a ban (and f is already rated Z), so now we have a bunch of games getting updates to add black voids, making models fade out at certain angles and covering up cleavages (and sometimes not even that saves them from a bumped rating in Japan). There may be a lot of wrong things with the game, but this one is the CERO boomers and their double standards' fault, not the devs'.
I'm calling it now: If Blooper ends up remaking Silent Hill 3 they're going to redo Heather's outfit without a skirt, unironically removing something that was added as a request of Team Silent's women

There is nothing to talk about other than doom/gloom when it comes to this desecrated property and shit people already know, it's time for me to move on and enjoy better games. Not even 2's director maintained his integrity after starting social media. He shilled the demake hard. That's what happened to Soylent Hell. So even if Team Silent resurrected with the crew, none of them are of the same minds predating the ps3 era. It's never coming back even with the best start.

Dunno the review I read said main girl calls other main girl both "her partner" and "her soulmate" repeatedly throughout the story and another female side character is portrayed as having a very unsubtle crush on main girl.
How much of this is localization will remain unclear to me as I do not speak or read Japanese.

As others have said early reviews are out, but also a few of them have put out some longplays of the whole game.
Came across a video of all the cutscenes if anyone want's to see how bad the story is in regards to the Feminism the devs were spouting. Apparently the game has four endings. So far I've only came across a video with the first one that you get no matter what you do on your first playthrough.

I know people associate it with wokeness, but the whole panty-shot censors go back the early 2010s. There were few articles made back in 2013/14 of sakurai talking about this with smash 4 and Kid icarus uprising.
