What I didn't want confirmed, but I knew must be true. Christ, she was three when it started. I have a nephew around that age so I know how innocent kids that age are & how eager they often are to please adults in their lives.

Dave & his mother are the worse kind of people, after the active abuser, they're passive abusers. This guy deserves every awful thing that has & can happen to him.

Well, technically speaking, he's right. He didn't do anything. Problem is, that's exactly NOT what you're supposed to do in these kinds of cases. It's bad enough that he sat around and did jack shit--the fact that he literally did it so he wouldn't lose his fucking boyfriend is absolutely reprehensible.

I refuse to believe anyone could be this fucking awful.

And he seems to think by doing nothing he has no guilt. This is going to be terrible for the kid in about ten years when she's hitting puberty and is going to have all these fucked up memories of sexuality. Then she'll ask Dave wtf he was doing and all she'll get is "my PTSD! My PTSD! We can't talk about it because of MY PTSD!"

I hope she realizes by the time she's an adult to cut all ties.

:powerlevel: My mother is like this. She doesn't understand that by doing nothing and blaming "but muh religion!", she still is guilty. "You can't fault meeee! I was abused too! What about my experiences?! Me me me!" In fact, my mother, aunt, three cousins, and my best friend's parents all turned a blind eye. (There's more but I'm already showing too much)

It's horrible but yes, people like this do exist. More than I want to admit.

Fuck, so apparently Douchefuck Dave has a sphere of influence among his friends? Not to mention, he actually let his daughter get raped without even giving a single fuck about her? People like him are why I drink honestly. This sick fuck probably would have been okay with his daughter getting molested if it weren't for the fact that his baby daddy got fucking caught. I think the thing that really gets to me is how he has the fucking nerve to get off to incest, non con, and under aged characters. He's getting off to the trauma that HE helped inflict onto his poor kid.

He's probably also groomed minors in the past and probably tried to have some cult thing going on. These kinds of tumblr/fandom cows (ie: the BLMatsu crowd) are notorious for having abusive cults of personalities manipulating and grooming others into their nasty fetishes. And considering his influence on Corey (who also has a sphere of influence with his friends), Dave seems to not just be a pedophile and a selfish cunt, but also a manipulative son of a bastard that wants personal control of other people (including minors and probably at one point even his poor daughter), which makes him a genuinely vile piece of shit.
