I didn't think I could find Drew more insufferable than I already did, but then he actually writes on his blog that posting RIP for a person that got murdered makes you a fascist. You know very well he carefully wrote that one so that nobody can accuse him of grave dancing, he was just calling out people calling out the grave dancing for the hexing fascists that they are.
Of course, only reason he wrote that cope and seethe post is because he wanted that money to go to him and not anybody else. I maintain that all of Drew's political posturing and theatrics are just that, fake posturing and theatrics for attention and asspats. That's why his post almost reads like a parody. If this piece of shit has any political beliefs it can be summed up as "Everybody else must ensure an existence for me and a future for me me me me".

I disagree. He comes off as a true believer to me. Still, I don't have experience with feigning adherence to beliefs and generally being an insufferable asshole constantly, so perhaps he is. I'd be surprised if he were just playing an increasingly irrelevant part.

You might be right, but it's hard to tell because there are very few political positions Drew has actually taken and that you can compare his actions to. Yeah, we know he really doesn't like fascists, he doesn't think that fascists should get money, he thinks that fascists are big meanies who use big meany words in their discords, but from what I remember (and if somebody who comes often to this thread please correct me if I'm wrong) he doesn't have any political issue he stands strongly about besides perhaps foss, it's not like he really cares about the environment, or palestine or Ukraine or indeed anything. A true believer or anybody who actually believes in something would have one or two or more issues they feel strongly about and would tie them into a post like this, where on the other hand Drew in this post only seems to deal in the most surface level culture warfare.
They reference grock in something, they are one of the Elon people! Fascist!
They mourn the death of a person leftists didn't like? Fascist!
They find code of conduct people annoying? Fascist!
They mention neutrality on their website? Call Gunther Fehlinger! Dismantal ladybird! Fascist!
It's pretty much the sort of word vommet I'd write if I wanted to play a leftist without actually stating any opinions that could possibly age badly or go out of political fashion. Of course, there's a real possability that Drew is a true but socially retarded believer whose autism prevents him from expressing his opinions like a normal (or at least usual) leftist and instead resorts to those kinds of empty air statements because that's how he thinks it's done.
Only way to find out is to get him on a livestream and just let him talk and talk. It's always illuminating when people are put on the spot and made to say things they haven't thought about from every angle and scripted ahead of time. I bet that the stream could be very fun for the few people who can survive listening to Drew for more than 5 minutes.

On one level, I don't even blame Droon. As a complete and total reject that looks like a lawn gnome, the only real affirmation he has ever had is through his SJW sperging online because the relevant culture has rewarded that behavior with compliance and clout for a long time now. 5 people use his window manager and no one is ever going to use his meme language.
