Despite being one of the creators @'ed by Lindsay (who is possibly a boss at Nebula?) the "keep your mouth shut, you'll make us look bad" warning, retarded troon Jessie Gender couldn't help but make horrific comments on Bluesky gloating about Charlie Kirk's death:

1757623840677.webp

Note: Gender is calling Kirk a Nazi. Meanwhile, Gender's most recent Nebula video literally claims it's okay to kill Jews in Israel 'cause the Khazar theory is correct/Jewish elite secretly control the entire US government for evil & profit/your general Priority of Zion conspiracy stuff 😵‍💫 But somehow the milquetoast conservative devout Mormon guy is the Nazi???

Anyway, Jessie Gender later complains when people call it out for speaking ill of Charlie Kirk:

This is so dumb I'm not even sure what to comment.

TLDR, for an "edutainment" platform, Nebula creators continue to prove their IQ's are approximately room temperature.

considering that even corpos are not happy with their people talking shit about Charlie, I'm amazed that Gender the local Contrapoints ripoff didn't think people would call him out. No common sense.

DC cancelled a brand new Red Hood run because the tranny ass author made similar sentiments on bsky. This is immensely funny that even bsky where people go to get away from xitter, it's toxic environment and "censorship" are now being censored for creating a toxic environment.

Gender and the rest of these assholes will never learn, and I am smiling at the fact that even in the places they think should be "safe" for their endless spout of oral dookie, they are getting pushback and flak. It's very satisfying to see them cry like petulant snot nosed brats having their hand smacked with a ruler.

It's really amazing how people who hold onto the pocket of the state the hardest also think they're the outsiders

I just realized one of the people calling out Gender on Twitter was Kefals. Imagine being such a degenerate, even Kefals is questioning your lack of morals 😵‍💫

Well, I guess Gender is in luck in that regard, considering Nebula's soyface CEO is too busy pretending to be a director/is too soyfaced to fire Gender. & Lindsay Ellis (who I think is a boss now at Nebula as well? Correct me if I'm wrong?) is probably some flavor of accelerationist, if the political views of her self-insert x Starscream Dollar Tree romance novel is anything to go by - so I doubt she'd have an issue with Gender's posts - beyond being annoyed said posts made Nebula look even worse to normies.

Like I said previously, I still think it'll shut down by the end of this year/early next year. The Nebula CEO seems to have checked out/barely posts on social media, none of the "Nebula originals" it wasted money on are being talked about/upvoted on its subreddit. The only Nebula content people care about are Bobby Brocolli, that Secret Base guy who'll probably end up on Barstool Sports & Jetlag (obviously). & it wouldn't shock me if the Bobby Broccoli stuff is being pirated, 'cause no one who asks about it on Reddit, seems interested in Nebula/seem disgusted to learn its Nebula exclusive (but that might also be because the CEO still never properly configured the payment method for Europeans so they're most locked out of Nebula unless they use Applepay).

Wow, a whole 16 updoots! 10 comments! & most of them saying "hey look, it's Mr. Peanutbutter" (???)

So I asked my coworker why he subscribed to Nebula in the first place and he told me it was 'to directly support creators ' (this man also recycles and got something like 8 covid shots. Nigga is a lost cause ) and that he has since moved on to other platforms as most youtuber's now shill for floatplane or patreon.

My guess is that relying on incendiary political content will prove deadly since those parasocial relationships are more fraught then other types of online slop.

So I watched the episode. In Full.

WHAT. THE. FUCK! 😱😨

The mailwoman's (?) Unibomber "teheheh, domestic terrorism bombings for LGBT rights" line was absolutely out of fucking line! WTF is wrong with Breadtubers/Nebula-ers - why do they have a weird fixation on domestic terrorism? Lindsay's Space Chicken trilogy was full of "Timothy McVeigh was an unsung hero!" plot points. (Note: I am an Oklahoman, no, McVeigh absolutely was fucking not. He was one of America's' worst homegrown terrorists)

None of these Nebula folks should be allowed to buy fertilizer in the Home Depot/Lowes outdoor section. Heck, how are they even allowed on PLANES?
In the wake of the Charlie Kirk shooting by a far leftist that was fucking a troon, that domestic terrorism comment in the Amy's Dreamhouse episode is especially disturbing/unhinged.

How are none of these Breadtuber f#ckers on a federal watchlist/demonetized?

(this man also recycles and got something like 8 covid shots. Nigga is a lost cause
Wow. You'd think after the first few covid shots not working, he'd have cut his loses, if only to save on the vaccine copay.

How are none of these Breadtuber f#ckers on a federal watchlist/demonetized?
If that where the case and knowing most american precedents there is a possibility of them being on a watchlist and even a smaller one of govt plants keeping tabs on them, why they haven't faced any repercusion or investigation for their insane takes and possible ties to foreign propaganda boils down to them not being considered a threat

Kiwi's, get it before it's gone - Nebula has brought back its *Lifetime membership for the low low price price of 300 dollars! :story:

1759009493715.webp

*tentatively lifetime, according to soyfaced CEO who has claimed said permanent membership could be revoked at anytime if Nebula becomes unsustainable. Also, soyfaced CEO didn't honor a certain amount of lifetime Nebula memberships purchased via a certain Curiositystream (Apple exclusive?) bundle package prior to their Curiositystream split up, due to Curiositystream "not having the authority to sell said memberships" (according to the soyface CEO in now deleted Reddit threads, created by purchasers who were pissed their specific lifetime membership didn't switch over).

Meanwhile, on X (I guess he gave up on Bluesky?) Soyfaced CEO immediately brags about Nebula's solid subscriber retention numbers (neglecting to mention how many of its rich champagne socialist subscribers bought the lifetime package, so theoretically they cannot ever quit said platform).

1759009978940.webp

He also complains about Youtube ending the ban of conservative channels suppressed by order of the Biden administration. Wait, I thought Nebula was against government censorship? 🙄

In other news, he was later rude to a Nebula subscriber's well intentioned suggestion on the mostly dead Nebula subreddit, 'cause soyfaced CEO is an uppity autist 'tard who always acts like a manbaby whenever Nebula subscribers make Nebula improvement suggestions ('cause how dare the customers tell him what they want in a platform...? 😵‍💫)

1759010504306.webp

EDIT: wanted to clarify, the Nebula discovery function on the app allegedly sucks/only recommends the same videos over and over (including ones already watched), according to many Nebula users who've repeatedly complained about it.

The 15 updoots on the soyface CEO's nasty comment is an interesting coincidence. It makes me wonder if Nebula either has 15 employees always there to updoot Nebula posts, or has the power to have 15 Reddit bots updoot Nebula threads/posts. The Nebula subreddit is mostly dead/mostly has posts with no comments, aside from aproximately 15 updoots on new release announcement threads (or the CEO's comments) 🤔.

Anyway, I'm starting to wonder if Nebula's finances/books are mostly funded via the cash injections they receive from the occasional lifetime membership sales being open. For example, if only 10,000 tankies purchase said membership, that's 3 million. RealEngineer once claimed in a *video Nebula's bandwidth/storage (IDK how internet companies work) cost about 20,000 a month to maintain, so that still leaves over a million in profit. Add in the Qatari propaganda investor cash they likely receive for talking about how fantastic & amazing & definitely not corruptly influencing wordwide soccer football organizations Qatar is, they probably make a small profit (or at least the favored creators at the top, as is the nature of pyramid schemes) & just afford to keep the office's lights on.

*Real Engineering's video where they discuss some of Nebula's finances infrastructure:

An unexpected Jet Lag episode dropped, but it's a Magic: The Gathering ad. Nebula subscribers are criticizing them for not clearly disclosing that the entire episode is an ad and for collaborating with Wizards of the Coast, an immoral company.

Isn't Wizards one of the most pozzed, progressive media companies there is? Sure it's an ad, but it's released on their official channel for fucks sake?

Are they looking for an excuse to get mad at?

Rule numbah one about progressives: it's never enough for them, if you're not on trend with the lastest gender, sexuality, liberation or you're capitalist is a way they don't like you are a bigot simple as.
Besides is crazy how Wizards of the coast discontinued tons of D&D settings because they where "problematic", corpo was on the politically correct band wagon before it was cool

i hate how annoying these people are when disagreeing with something
>um, I just wanted to let you know that the company you worked with is literally hitler, ok?
if you dislike what they did just call them a faggot and leave holy shit it's not that serious.

i call it the JK Rowling principle. she's all in on 99.99% of the lefty/progressive ideology, but one small nitpick makes her enemy number one. there are probably actual neo-nazis that dislike her less than her own ideological allies. these people aren't serious at all.

I've seen shitlibs on Bluesky accuse Wizards of Coast of being a white supremacist company for allegedly having Magic cards & D&D modules with antiblack stereotypes. So I guess that's what they're mad about (despite, as you've pointed out, Wizards of Coast is one of the most DEI progressive gaming company out there).

The fact that Nebula (which originally claimed it was an "ad free" streaming service) is dropping commercial/sponsored episodes, sure is interesting. Wonder if this will happen again/sign of more sponsored episodes to come? Alternatively, they'll just stick to releasing video essays on how amazing and fantastic and definitely not corrupt the country of Qatar is.

So apparently the Nebula app comes equipped with some sorta Spyware hidden inside the app (perhaps the more computer technical Kiwis could confirm if what the Reddit thread OP is saying, is true?)

...somewhat creepy (if true) considering Nebula's, well, nebulous financial backers (Qatar? Russia? China?)

It's probably true that it uses sentry.io, but the implications of that are up to your beliefs. I don't think it's worse than logging into sites like Twitter and Reddit which have even more analytics.

Keep in mind that if you sign up for an account, especially if you give payment details, 90% of your privacy is already lost unless you take steps to mitigate it. Worrying about sentry.io is like trying to close the barn door after the horse has left.

True.

However, wasn't one of Nebula's orginal selling points was that it's an ethical company unlike those evil big chud run profit driven streaming corporations, and would never ever use advertisements (a rule which they've already broken) or sell user data? 🤔

Like I've said a zillion times before; I'm shocked Kofie and the rest of the laid off Secret Base crew haven't made a deal with Barstool Sports by now. The Nebula crowd don't give af about his sportsball dissertations. Heck, the soyfaced CEO doesn't even assign bots to give Kofie's show's Reddit thread updoots:

Nebula is now offering free trials and have decided for reasons best known to themselves that the best way to advertise this is with tranny tits.
Very progressive. Very cool
