It's IMPOSSIBLE to please these people. They exist in a world where they don't feel good about themselves unless they've "corrected" someone on literally anything. There is no end to it. They look for and manufacture drama in order to feed this need.

Very much agree. I remember Elon being mocked at the time pretty heavily for overpaying for Twitter and certainly, if you look at it strictly as a business, it was not worth that much money. But once you consider the political and cultural impact of that one transaction, 44 billion is an absolute bargain. Twitter was bought on October 28, 2022, little under three years ago. Think about how much of discourse, both on- and offline, has been reshaped by Musk taking over Twitter a measly three years ago.

I mean, I do agree with the users in the sense that social media is ultimately defined by their userbase not necessarily the tech behind it. People don't join KF because they really love Xenforo, they join because of who the users are (and arent). Troons don't use blue sky because they love decentralized social media platforms, they use blue sky because they fled from xitter users.
