I regret to introduce you to "Voices of the Void", a furry futa-porn game that Vinesauce Joel keeps getting trolled into playing.

I have been enjoying Voices of the Void so far. The cat aliens are invisible in game and you wouldn't know that the main cat alien is a futa unless you look it up in the wiki and read the "lore" that the dev typed up in discord with one hand and isn't really set in stone yet. So normies like Joel and his audience can enjoy it without the game getting too tainted with furry shit as long as they dont inteact with the wider community. And I think the dev knows that his furry shit will turn off normies (and Joel) and demonstrating lots of self restraint like keeping the aliens invisible, changing the relationship mechanic so the highest level is "loyal" instead of "flirty" and isn't filling the game with LGBT theme decorations for your base. As far as troon slop goes VotV is probably one of the better ones when it comes to the troon part.

What? Why bother doing all the effort of putting all the source engine sounds when you could just make a half life 2 mod?

It isn't just sounds, he made it so everything not nailed down is a physics object like in a source game. If you want to sell the game it should be it's own stand alone thing and not a mod. Also Unreal simulating source would be easier to work with and get support for than using source proper.

From what clips I've seen, the only thing I can really say is "potentially troonish" is the dev having his pronouns in his twitter bio (but only the he part lol). Can't trust low poly, remotely cute aesthetics but so far I see no major flags.

My only experience with the game is watching a highlights video on YT of Joel getting scared by the cat robot. I don't know a single thing about the game besides it's similar to Signal Simulator.

It is the community. Like I said, most of the cat alien lore is from what the dev said on discord and you will only really know about it if you spend time on the discord/reddit or read the wiki. In game all you know about them is they are invisible aliens that fly the white triangular UFOs and most of your interactions with them is through their mostly harmless "pranks" and your only real understanding of their cat like apperiance is from the graffiti they leave around your base or propaganda posters at theirs. Currently, the most degen thing they do in game is if you reach the max reputation with them then sometimes you will wake up with a full food meter and an empty bowl of yogurt next to you implying that one of them (likely the leader, who is a futa according to the dev) fed you while you slept.

It's a 10 minute walking sim. Not really a "Silent Hill" clone. The mirror maze was creepy but it did feel like a cheap scare.
The only notable thing about it was a line of dialogue about a painting of Jesus. The main character said something along the lines of "Who is the angry man in this picture?". There's probably more cultural context in Chile.

It accurately looks like a rare NDS game, which is cool, albeit it seems kind of expensive for how barebones the gameplay looks
