I can imagine what he's like in his sped class: the real life version of his internet antics. Begging everybody to be his friend, flipping the fuck out when they want to sit next to someone else at lunch, further freak outs when they say they're no longer friends because of the lunchtime tantrum.

I was going to say something like "Don't six year olds actually know what death is by then?" but then I remembered autism, plus Darla comes off as pretty dumb in general. He probably thought grandma went to America and couldn't be assed to write or call.

I like how he said he ate all of this cereal and was becoming a "cute fatty kid". Well gee, no fucking wonder he got diabetes. He also said that his grandmother would tell him nothing but baby stories. I mean yes, he was just a little kid, but to describe them as "infantile stories" means he either really was coddled as a kid, or he wants to be a kid again and told stories about rainbows and bearcats and everyones are friends.

I actually met an extremely rare diaperfur who kept it to himself and never told anyone, and I asked why he was into that. He said something about wanting to be a kid again, when you don't have any real worries in the world. I get the feeling that Darlal is just taking that idea to the extreme, just without wearing diapers and using them in real life. Think about it, he constantly eats sugar cereal, is all about childish things, acts childish, etc. He's someone who either doesn't want to grow up (beyond what the average person feels) or simply can't come to terms with the fact that he's no longer a kid, so he simply acts as if he never aged beyond whatever year of his life he chose to be nostalgic about.
