The old artstyle while ugly looking in it's own way is still better than the Calarts style because any semblence of art style is better than calarts beanmouth shit
*Edit: I initally thought it was the art direction being changed for the better, but reading it properly and looking at the two images (plus searching on twitter myself), I thought it was the other way around when what actually happened is that they ditched the unique artstyle for Calarts shit

So i've talked about this person numerous times in the doobus goobus thread, and the vivziepop thread, and was mentioned years ago in random cwc updates thread. But I'd figure to mention her here in this thread, kinda give an update to the cwc thread, and post some of her other stuff here
This is Rebecca Kartzmark (an ex animator for mercury filmworks (for hilda, tangled before ever after, disney tv animation studio (the ghost and molly mcgee), made a music video for some faggot musician called tom cardy called anxious (featuring her character beeker) current animator for 9story (wild kratts), ls mark's catching up indie show, and creator of some up-and-coming indie show she's making called royal pain (which has the aforementioned doobus goobus, michael kovach (a refugee from catching up/voice over artist in any and all indie show). She is dating animator erik segriff (online handle yerkdiff). Now you might ask, why have I gave and still am giving her any attention, simply put it has to do with the people that she surrounds herself with and their sort of gang of people who want to make porn on main but don't due to the duality of it all, but also want to also keep their main as barely sfw as possible. For instance kartzmark has an alt that goes by beeker_boobees (xitter handle ukrazy4- the same as her ngl.link account which can be seen on her main account for when she does a q&a) now her character (or what it really is, an extension of herself) beeker, which i guess is some sort of shortstacked type version of herself but its a cartoon. Now her alt account is mostly just a place where she just either retweets porn of her character (some of which is made by loli artists. (ie some fanart of beeker made by a artist called proterios (who has made art of stuff from codename kids next door, pepper ann, and 2 comics with the characters from the canadian show sidekicks, and that's just the tip of the iceburg for him) or the occasional piece of fanart that someone else makes of beeker, that she posts on her alt account. And very sometimes she makes her own lewd art most of which is tame. Now while she doesn't sperg about politics from what I've seen, her friends more or less are the type that give degenerate energy, doobus goobus (who ive mentioned before has a thread on the farms), her partner yerkdiff also makes porn (which isn't on his xitter unless its on a really hidden alt account, most of his smut is available on his patreon), toku the poku (tinytoku), another xitter artist who is friends with her, and privately made nsfw with her toku character and beeker (which is on Rebecca's alt account), and her along with yerkdiff and toku, mostly simp, like and retweet stuff from from Scottfalco (the side of salt guy) who
, what a surprise made nsfw art (and when people found out, he removed it from his xitter, however it can be found on rule 34). Now I think its stupid that these guys want to be either as sfw as possible so that they can get jobs for animation studios, or so some of their naive fans can follow someone who in their mind is a cool artist. But on the other hand make nsfw art on the side. Either pick the sfw lane and make your projects or go the hentai route. The last thing people want to see when you are working on a tv show, is porn of your character on a alternate account you've made.

As you all know, she's infamous for creating the LGBT favourite show, Steven Universe, but something funny came out when Libs of TikTok revealed some more information about Sugar.
Not only did she go behind the network back when she shoved in the LGBT themes into the show, specifically with Garnet when they revealed she was a fusion between two Gems known as Ruby and Sapphire, but it also reveals that she and her husband Ian self-inserted themselves into the characters.
Essential E;R was right to call her the John Money of animation.

Why am I not fucking surprised. Modern creators literally cannot stop self-inserting themselves into their creations, and they typically are the "darlings", too. That Ian allowed himself to be portrayed as a dyke is very beta of him to do.
