Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

I didn't know he talked about pooping himself while wearing the stupid model magic glasses that made him look 100 times more mentally disturbed than before.

I mean, yeah, if you can't make it home in time and you can't make it into a restroom either, you can just squat and clean yourself. That's the best thing to go for there.

So you've pulled your pants down and squatted in parking lots and anywhere else that doesn't have a restroom, Chris?

That would be too much effort. It's easier for him to shit himself than drop his pants and squat.

other than the stench or possibly walking funny, nobody will know.

also, his description of some turds as "painless" has puzzled me. i hope its a poor choice of words, and doesnt actually idicate that he either hurts when he shits or shits his pants.

How old was he when he drew that? 16? I wonder whether he thought that Pokemon really existed and that Pokeball assembly line worker was a realistic career choice?

Wedding comic. CWCki is confused about why Rosechu is chasing the chariot. She isn't. She's catching Ivy's bouquet. And now I have to go self-harm to punish myself for realizing that. :cryblood:

I like how there's some kind of dark aura around Chris and his heartsweet.

Also--"autism". That pretty much describes this picture, yeah.

-I don't know how Chris looked when he was in high school, but am I the only one who notices that he looks fat in the picture?

-Also, is it just me, or does that picture look more like it says say "AVTISN" or "AVTISH" rather than "AUTISM"?

-And having taken several art classes, Chris clearly isn't good at shading or blending colors, and he has smudges in several places.

-Are Chris, SHFTGU and his child supposed to look like the light from the TV set is shining on them and the black area around Chris and SHFTGU their shadows, or did he envision that his future house had faulty electrical wiring? You'd think he would ask if his father could help him fix that with all his electrical engineering experience...

-The outlines either look cartoon drawn, or they are absent entirely. I can't even make out a faint pencil line, also, black isn't the only color to use for shadows, there's a nifty little trick called coloring highlights, has he ever heard of it?

-How come early on, almost every other depiction that Chris made of himself looked more like an autistic Steve Burns? At least, that's what it seemed like before the pseudo-anime style that picked up around the Megan saga(IIRC)...

Did Chris ever mention the stolen replica Dali painting again? I wonder if they found it in the wreckage and just shut up about it instead of admitting that they'd unjustly blamed a firefighter for it.

Why did Chris think we all understood his thought process before he figured out that a lot of his fans were trolls? Why did he think we'd know what "My Wooden Badge was delicious" or "Merried Senior Comic" meant? I'm aware he has autism but the autistic people I have seen usually have trouble understanding others yes but they almost always don't make up words or spout of nonsense you can usually interpret what they were trying to say or do.

Speaking of which has anyone figured out what Merried Senior Comic was supposed to mean? Was Kirby an amateur comedian who mentioned offhand that he had a wife and Chris thought it was funny to make fun of his age? That is literally the only way I could see it making a random-sorta Chris sense.

Also if his prohecised daughter was supposed to be white like he said than why was he okay with dating Native Americans, Asians, Hispanics and all other sorts of races? If he did by his own logic than Crystal would not be completely white. Or is just that he is "Old Fashioned"?

Well, what are you comparing his (kinda) literary references to? If you're comparing them to his lego want list, with the references, he thinks that he's clever, and that other authors of creative works put references in their works, right? So he put references he thought his audience would get. (he just fucked that up because he's dumb) But the lego wish list is something that people can't read his mind to get, so he has to spell it out for the stupid folks out there.

Heh, Chris is someone that would get a completely unprompted present from a stranger and wouldn't be one to say "oh, thanks," because it wasn't exactly what he wanted. He'd whine about how it wasn't what he wanted, and how they should've gotten him the right one. With his wishlist, he's just trying to preempt this sort of thing happening.

Uhh, I don't think we've confirmed (or even have gotten solid theories) what it meant. There are theories, but I don't think we've really got anything nailed down. Heh, until we get an answer out of Chris himself, I don't think we'll know. (Or maybe we have, someone could check the cwcki on this)

To Chris, I think "white" means "not black."

It's cause Chris is willing to take any woman that he could get and is willing to give him the time of day. And if by some unholy miracle said WOC and Fatty did wed, he'd retcon his dream accordingly.

How averse to change is he, did he cry when the Power Rangers changed their zords or half their cast? Did he cry when Megatron became Galvatron in Transformers? All just meaningless speculation I know given that he probably never references this. But given that some people seem to be able to figure Chris out insanely well I figured I'd ask.

Chris wouldn't cry, he'd just bitch. That's assuming he didn't think the new zords were way past cool and something he'd want to rip off for his comics.

Pretty much this. He bitched about Roberta Tubbs' voice actress on The Cleveland Show being changed in a video, actually returning to the internet after one of his abandonments to record it.

I'd say it's simple bad writing. This sort of thing is in bad fan fiction and fiction period all the time -- random characters showing up, their importance known to an author who overlooks explaining it to us.

From the Gloria Tesch thread, I learned there are people here who read bad fan fiction for giggles, so they can probably weigh in. Chris' random exposition (like on the reproductive organs of Sonichu and Rosechu) is a signature of bad fiction, just more hamhanded than usual. I like the idea of dividing Chris' age in half to establish the state of his emotional maturity, and these read like the kinds of stories a hyperactive 11 year old might write. Chris is more interested in lining up his pretend action figures for battle (which they usually win without much tension anyway).

I've always liked the CWCki's attention to how the the comics began to be influenced by the trolls and their interaction with Chris. Which makes me wonder what kind of audience he was writing for before then. One is clearly written with Megan in mind as a reader -- that much was a conscious choice on his part. Before then?
