I feel Talk To Staff is a bit too stuffy for some people feeling comfortable asking small or simple questions to moderators, and I also believe there could be some more levity between staff and users.

Try to avoid using this to interrogate about moderation decisions, like "Why was I banned?" since that's something that genuinely should be handled in Talk To Staff. Threads posted there will be treated with more urgency and seriousness. Generally.

Use this thread to ask us questions, serious or not, and we'll answer them accordingly to whimsy.

What is an old user ban you'd like to see overturned?
I really liked Sigsegv. I voiced for his unbanning a few times, but it's at the point I feel like walking on eggshells.

Do mods sometimes put funny notes on users for the hell of it?
Yes. You can pin a note on a user saying anything. The warning system uses customizable preset points, meaning a user can be given zero warning points and a joke note. I do it sometimes, but it's uncommon because it's a small prank that only one or two people will ever see.

Lets say we double the wages of kiwi mods, would mods still be gay?
If a mod was to suck his own cock would they be extra gay, or is it overwritten by being a mod(which is gayer in my opinion).
If a male mod and female mod were to fuck irl, would they both still be gay?
If i were to chug few cans of tomato sauce at mods, would they get angry with me, or would they start mopping up the mess?

Okay okay, what if, nick rekieta was a mod, would he be gayer because hes a mod, or because hes nick rekieta?
What if a mod converts from a gay mod to a straight user, either by nulls boot or by resigning, will they still be gay because they once were a mod?
Will mods starve if they are deprived of access to the internet, you know like vampires.
Speaking of vampires, they hate sunlight, do mods hate showers?

What advice would you give to newer posters or older posters that still make newfag mistakes?

What made you become a mod? Love for the site, the people, or something else?
I wanted to have more things to do, I suppose. I like having responsibilities to ignore.

How fat are KF jannies compared to Discord or Reddit jannies
Discord and Reddit mods are generally blobs. I want to say 1/3rd are skinny greaseballs. I haven't seen many images of Kiwi Farms mods, but half of the ones I've seen are blobs instead of 2/3rds.

Are you doing it for free? If so, why?
It's amusing at times.

I don't know.

Spend a month or two only reading posts to get a general feel for the forum, and spend the month after limiting yourself to only a post every other day to see how people react to you. It's what I did.

Did you get that thing I sent you?

Your opinion matters far less than you think it ought to. I understand the need to issue your own "this situation sucks" comment, but if tons of people have already made that comment before, then it isn't really necessary. There isn't a need to always comment, particularly so when you cannot provide (or cannot be bothered to) any unique thoughts or insight.

You'd be surprised how many threads this advise would be relevant in.

When Null bans someone on a whim, is there ever pushback from mods?

How do the notes on peoples profiles like actually work? Like do you guys put notes on everyones profile or just certain individuals?

can we see how many solutions we have? I just wanna see if it's more than that catler fag
I don't think so. It's a website feature that needs to be turned on.

When we notice, sometimes. Usually it takes users pointing out a user was banned. I've discussed and overturned a few bans in the past after some communication.

When you apply warning points on a user, you can leave a note. The note is visable to moderators on your profile.
