The fact that Bob literally can't accept that the Mario cartoon isn't canon and that Mario and Luigi are actually two plumbers with Italian accents native to the mushroom kingdom and aren't two normal guys that happened to find a portal to the mushroom kingdom makes him so butthurt it never fails to make me laugh.

I know he's said in the past that he prefers the cartoon Mario lore because his grandfather was a plumber living in Brooklyn and that connected with him more, but maybe the real reason Bob is so obsessed with the cartoon is because in it, it depicts the mushroom kingdom as a place that can be accessed from the real world and it gives him hope that one day he'll be able to go there and live out his childhood fantasy of palling around with Mario and the crew. If that's true that's just sad, like really sad.

I just don't understand how a guy who makes shitty youtube reviews for a living had the nerve to accuse anyone of not contributing. But I hope this stuff keeps up, I hope the left keeps telling the right and anyone who isn't exactly the kind of left they are exactly how they feel about them. While I highly doubt trump will get a second term, that doesn't mean a Democrat will won. There's a Kennedy ( i think robert kennedys son) that's actually a Republican and I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a run at it. His last name alone will get him all kinds of support. But the crazy thing is, even a center left candidate will not placate most of these people.


All these loons screaming about what they deserve for doing nothing and how everyone who won't pay their way is a literal nazis is killing the Democratic party. And not a single dem. Leader is trying to talk reason.

I'm afraid we're getting past the point where logic and reason have any effectiveness and people start acting merely on their own instincts. If the world begins undergoing more scarcity and stress, then I fear that Bob is just the tip of a fat iceberg that's just hoving into view. To him, the world is divided into the good guys (people who share his psychology, regardless of how indecent, law-breaking and opposed to fair play they might be,) and the bad guys (people with the opposite psychology, who are scum no matter how much they obey the law, or how nice they are to the people around them.) It's an odd way to separate the worthy from the unworthy (or at least, it SEEMS odd to someone who is psychologically normal.)

The worst part about Bob's idea that Mario is from Brooklyn is that the one game that he wrote a book about suggests that it was just a play.

On one hand, the cancellation of Last Man Standing is kind of a dumb thing to get worked up about when it got cancelled from a purely business standpoint. On the other hand, you know Bob's gonna be really condescending and tie this into how much he thinks Trump supporters aren't normal and don't deserve to live due to their reaction towards the news.
