He worked in the mailroom of two different law firms in SLC. He was fired from both for cause. His antics became widely known within the community and obviously law firms do not want to be connected to an employee who is making local news for suing a celebrity who didn't want to date him or who makes public rantings about sex workers he feels mistreated him.
He was fired from the first job for his lawsuit against Farrah Abraham*. He was fired from his second for his post calling out Dennis Hof and alleging an employee of his - who had not been responsive to his creepy messages - has AIDS.
*He tweeted @Farrah saying he would love to win a date with her. She "liked" the tweet. He took this as legally binding her to go on a date with him. When she didn't, he filed a lawsuit that she had already accepted a date (she had not) and she couldn't reneg (she can).
One day I need to brain dump everything I know about Russell. I've been following this saggy faced faggot's moronic antics for 2 years.

I don't wanna double post since I guess that's frowned upon and I'm new here - but regarding his "college degree" - Russ has a 2-year associate's degree in paralegal studies (basically how to be a secretary) from an unaccredited Mormon college that was established for English Second Language students who needed to brush up before going to real college.
And it took him 5 years to get that 2 year degree.
He's truly the most pathetic loser on the planet. To think he sees himself as an "inspiration" is ludicrous. If I were disabled and this was the story that was supposed to inspire me -- that I can "overcome" my disability to make $10/hour stocking shelves -- I'd fucking kill myself.
Also it bears noting that beyond his saggy face, Russ is also a borderline dwarf. He's maybe 5'3".

His birth parents gave him up for adoption but kept is non saggy faced twin sister.
His adoptive parents seem like nice Mormon people who probably coddled the shit out of him due to the fact that he looks like a zombie dwarf.
He's mostly alienated himself from his adoptive family due to his antics -- mostly the public posts about sex workers moreso than the lawsuits.
His adoptive father is actually a judge in Wyoming.
He found his birth mother a couple years ago but she cut off contact after he made her uncomfortable with his manic ways.
Same with his birth sister.
In fact, that's what fuels all this. His birth sister lives in LA and works in entertainment. He started all this after he was spurned by them.
In his mind, if he can just become famous, his birth family will regret spurning him and his empty meaningless life will finally be fulfilled.
That's why he's particularly focused on the entertainment biz. It's a link to his birth sister. He started pursuing Taylor Swift shortly after his birth sister cut him out.
It would be a sad story if he wasn't such a total fucking scumbag. He's thrown away any room for sympathy.

I actually personally have never comment or like anything that he posts ever because I try to lay low especially since he googles himself and I don't want him to discover who I am. I'm assuming others do the same since me and other people that know him talk about him all the time and laugh at the stuff he says.

He claims that he is no longer Mormon and that he sent in a resignation letter saying that he no longer wants to be Mormon. Whether he has actually done it and is true I have no idea. As to the other missionaries that went to the strip club I assume are still Mormon but I couldn't tell you either way.

I don't know why he didn't stay there or any details about that in specific but I do know that it is true. He worked for two other law firms that I'm aware of as a paralegal. He claims the first one let him go because he sued Farrah Abraham back in the day for refusing to go on a date with him. He dropped that case. I remember he said in a video to her that he really liked her and never saw her porn video but then admits that he went to a brothel. So that was definitely a lie.

Regarding his paralegal bullshit. I'm an attorney and used to be a paralegal. Paralegals aren't shit unless you've been doing it for a long time. I can take someone off the street and have them up and running doing what I need them to in a week or two. Those with paralegal certs are typically more trouble than they're worth. They're like Rusty here, know enough of the law and procedure to be a danger, but not enough to be helpful or do things correctly. So you get Rusty throwing out legalese and suing for shit you can't sue for. Or not understanding how a basic tort case works and what a person's duty to you is. News alert: a celebrity doesn't owe you a duty for anything that has to do with their celebrity status.
A perk of being an attorney is having access to PACER, the federal case docketing and tracking system. I can read anything that he files. I'm looking at his brothel case right now. Shockingly, its poorly written and throughout the case he repeatedly violated style rules and civil procedure. He evidently doesn't want to just go to brothels, he wants to run one.

There's no relation. A woman had asked on FB if he was related to Judge Greer because she would perceive his lawsuit as being credible if so. He then went to Quora to ask "What is it like having a dad who is a federal judge?" Interestingly on his adoptive father's FB, Russ is not in the family picture. I'm curious if he's been disowned. They do remain FB friends, however.

Since he left the Mormon Church and has done a bunch of very un-Mormon things both while still nominally a Mormon, and afterward, they probably cut him off. It's not just a Mormon thing. Just about any family would not want him around given his proclivities and utter lack of common sense. They might still talk to him on FB in an attempt to steer him back on the path of righteousness. As it stands, he'll never get anything but low-wage jobs since he's made himself toxic to any company that values its public image.
