This is not as important as you think it is, I don't think the powers that be are expecting nick to be able to pull shit like Jan 6 again, but he is building itself to be a very useful silver bullet against the right

Me too. His endorsement of jewish candidates for policy makers and wanting to work across racial categories is new and refreshing amongst the bigoted politics of the GOP that seek to divide us.

And what do you mean “pull shit like Jan 6 again”? He didn’t plan the protest. He told a small group to disregard the first set of barricades. Realistically Nick’s defense of why he didn’t get prosecuted for J6 is pretty strong and makes sense. He literally didn’t do anything. There were still more sets of barricades after that.

Yeah they were arresting other people who didn't do anything as well.

And even then Nick was one of the main ones telling people going to the building.

And this is after only a couple months ago he revealed he had gotten warned by Milo not to show up the night prior

The exact call was to "break down the barriers and disregard the police". He told the crowd to ignore law enforcement and to trespass and to break into the capitol. Later on, he cheered on protestors who he thought were "forcibly evicting" congressmen from the capitol building. He was urging the crowd to commit felonies. And he didn't address a "small group". He was addressing thousands of people as they were marching to the capitol. There was a direct connection between his incitement of a riot and the riot that followed.

And all this he said using a megaphone, so thousands of people heard him. Interesting that he brought a megaphone - that indicates right there that he didn't intent to just participate in the riot, but that he intended to lead it.

This is actually what BAPists believe (though whether they believe the latter part is up for debate). With groypers it's not "the jews" but brown people, preferably catholic, although as we've seen with the infamous and truly genius "christian-muslim alliance" other brownies are also invited. Probably because brown zoomers love to eat up that redpill JQ slop so it's easy to grift to them.
 
The astroturfing Nick is getting is oddly similar to Hasan Piker's media coverage just less positive. If you guys remember Hasan (Pre dog abuse) used to get bi monthly articles in Vice, the Guardian, Rolling Stone, New York Times that were basically just thinly veiled advertisements that were written to promote Hasan and create a "leftist Joe Rogan" to win back the youth.

Nick was dead in the water and streaming to a few dozen people on Cozy for the longest time. I have no doubt the Feds got him on the payroll after explaining to him how badly he fucked his life up when it comes to job prospects. It was either turn being a fed or be homeless/living with his parents for life. He chose being a fed. Now they're using their investment to fuck the right wing of America over. They are seething that Trump got a second term and are using him as a covert suicide bomber to finally kill MAGA and the Republican party.

The recent mainstream platforming of him reminds me of what the media did to Trump in the 2016 election. They boosted Trump over the other Republican candidates, because in their mind, if they could make the radical, uncouth guy win the primary, they could have an easy shot at winning the election. Of course that backfired massively, but the principle is there. I predict that you will see Ali Akbar and the other sordid history of Fuentes come out from the mainstream in due time (remember "some of the best people in the movement are Jewish"?), but they want to set Nick up to get a bigger audience, so they can knock them all down at once closer to the election or midterms.

Name one other person independently producing a high effort video show multiple days a week for ten years. While being shut out of not only every media institution, but also banks and airlines.

Whether you agree with his opinions or not, Nick Fuentes is competent, persistent, and serious in a way almost no zoomers are. Obviously at some point the media was going to have to acknowledge him. How could they not?

Everybody is connected to people in the same industry as them. It isn't surprising that press comes in waves. What outsiders call "astroturfing" is merely professional consensus. I'm sure the elite journalist groupchats have been discussing him for years.

It is also just universally inspiring how he refuses to be canceled. Most people don't have his strength. I think this is a large part of why his fans are so loyal, and his haters so ardent. He is strong where most media personalities are weak.
