Not much more than a truck. A 152 carries 25 gallons when full. A 172 is 50 gallons. And the reality is small planes rarely crash away from the airport when they have a lot of fuel. They crash when they have no fuel. Small planes have severe weight restrictions so the tradeoff in weight is about 25 gallons for a full size adult. And that tradeoff is what causes fuel exhaustion/crash.

I think Rekieta's Navigator has about 30 gallons fuel. He's a hazard anywhere. That is the twist that will turn him into a true horrorcow. He's the kind of dickhead that abuses his prescribed adderall and narcolepsy meds, runs out of meds before 30 days and falls asleep at the wheel killing a kid. Then claim his clean blood test (not even prescribed meds in his system) shows he was fine. Let's hope the tragedy is contained to his own family. He's already discussed getting more Rx drugs, how he can't run out, etc, etc, so it's happening.

This is the reason and they've said it multiple times now. How many times can one person return to the well and find it dry?
