All it did was bring was a bunch of retarded zoomers from twitter to Newgrounds and fucked up that site even further.Newgrounds has a major cultural artifact in Gaming in the form of Friday Night Funkin that is notably one of the biggest revivals Newground had.
Calm the fuck down lmao. It's saccharine but it's an improvement compared to most seething.View attachment 8166590
You're a literal faggot if you think this shit would convince AI users to change. Also congrats dumbfuck, you fed into the Meta AI.
I hope AI destroys most IG artists hopes and dreams.
Hard to do that when all you hear is bicthing about AI all day at work dude.Calm the fuck down lmao. It's saccharine but it's an improvement compared to most seething.
In fact, a lot of US animators hated how much work in the industry was moved to Asia, cartoons often depicting them as undignified, exploited slave labor.
According to commies, the rich can replace human workers with AI, do the same work that indie artists do, and use their massive finances in leveraging copyright law in a way that benefits them while punishing those indie artists.
I guess I'll attempt aSo what's the rebuttal of that propaganda?

"Pippa's Unusual Obsession: What Does She Love About Indonesian Artists?" - Azehara Ch
tl;dw: In her experience, Indonesians are good (at business), American artists suck, Japanese artists are hit-or-miss.
You forgot about the water usage! They waste billions of gallons a year!! (Please ignore the trillions that are wasted by leaky water pipes)Finally, as for the other claim of AI using a lot of power,
Counterpoint: Does every opinion just have to be a left/right issue? I think the effect is mostly because most artists traditionally happen to be on the liberal side and artists are the group that currently feels most threatened by the technological advancement. I don't think AI like/dislike is a political stance. It might very well become one because with both left and right the groupthink sadly is very strong and people will just fall in with their flock before going through the effort to actually form an opinion themselves.
It's pretty funny because you can also make the argument that AI art breaks down the barriers and makes it 'affordable' for everyone. Those poor brown SEAmonkeys can finally afford to generate their own anime waifus instead of paying a month's wages to some imperialist white piggu. It's art for the people that isn't gate kept by the elite. Or something along those lines. It's an ideological stance because the arguments used are political: more often than not, they will say AI wastes natural resources, disproportionally harms PoC, steals water from indigenous people. You cannot be pro-AI in leftist circles, it would be the equivalent of supporting Israel for them.
It is true that large data centers consume immense amounts of water, but the real problem is they're often located in jurisdictions that give them enormous tax advantages and on top of that, allow them to basically drain the groundwater to the point people with family homes with wells for generations suddenly can't even get water from them. It's a real problem. It's an ideological stance because the arguments used are political: more often than not, they will say AI wastes natural resources, disproportionally harms PoC, steals water from indigenous people. John "I got the pants sued off me for not paying Carbuncle Cartoons" Kricfaluci. That's what killed the original Spumco btw.I remember John Kricfalusi swearing by a totally USA-based studio in Miami.
Then again, I wonder what would the USA nimation industry and scene would be if animation unions got everything they wanted exactly the way they wanted.
I must have some form of Alzheimer's because I didn't realize I posted the same exact thing twice in the same thread. I can't delete it anymore9/11 for Disney adults

What’s hilarious to me is, it’s true. You really could. Drawing is not some magical talent that only a lucky few possess, it’s a skill. A whole lot of being good at drawing is just spending lots of time drawing.View attachment 8166590

I love that these images are always something you can't make with a pencil, guess you can't be as smug handing over a computer, drawing tablet and expensive art program subscriptions.View attachment 8166590

It’s just the same halfwit arguments against cryptocurrencies rehashed to appeal to emotion. They’ll say it damages the environment, but are radio silent when it comes to google actually depleting underground aquifers or streaming platforms using servers that consume much more electricity. They just parrot the same shit over and over. It's an ideological stance because the arguments used are political: more often than not, they will say AI wastes natural resources, disproportionally harms PoC, steals water from indigenous people. Yes. This.I hope AI destroys most IG artists hopes and dreams.
what is it with these people and watermarks? I'm counting 4 in this one. what's the point? how does having "PIZZA" on superman's belt buckle enhance the work in any way? just looks stupid.View attachment 8166590
