Jill Bearup, the anti-Lindsay, has released a new video on how many books in all formats (paperback, hardcover, e-book and audiobook) she has sold through self-publishing, with lots of pleasant numbers to be had including a breakdown of how many copies per platform.

28335 paperbacks
4863 audiobooks
316 hardcovers (only out for 3 weeks!)
for a total of 54468 books and a profit of $187165.50 before taxes. Suck it, Lindsay.

And for anyone who may be unfamiliar with the lore, Lindsay personally got Jill kicked off of TGWTG and Nebula for being a filthy, filthy TERF. While Lindsay dramatically fled the Internet and became a SAHM, Jill simply went about her business and never spoke about it publicly, while making videos about swordfights and shit. She then came up with a very popular shorts concept that turned into the book referenced above and which managed to outsell Lindsay's transformer fanfic published by a Real Legacy Publishing House.

Correction Jill left Channel Awesome because of the Change The Channel movement. The new Predator movie features a romance between one of the titular creatures, and a humanoid android woman. Lindsay already shipped the lead actress with the heroic Predator in the first AvP movie. I bet she's creaming in her pants right now.

It's funny how her commie degeneracy is so bad that monogamous alien x human romance was still too wholesome for her, so she had the protagonist of her crappy sci-fi novel bang a human dude instead, while claiming that aliens are too advanced for monogamy. Insane how her Reddit-brain prevented her from writing what could've been a successful self-insert romance novel for freaky women.

I wonder if she'll openly hate this film for promoting monogamy, while getting off to it in secret and reading all of the inevitable smut fanfic? It's also funny how Disney cucked her twice. First by giving Ryan Coogler the keys to a billion dollar franchise, and now by doing one of her ideas but in a way that will actually have mass appeal.

She also didn't public acknowledge when Lindsay forced Tom Scott to not only apologise for working on a collaborative video with Jill, but to delete the video entirely with a second apology. Very likely, aside from the public shaming Lindsay engaged in, she also privately threatened to have Tom removed from Nebula, where he makes a fair amount of his content these days. It was a very stupid moment and I don't think Tom Scott ever really recovered from the fallout. He stopped making most of his youtube content soon afterwards, professing burnout, but he still makes plenty of content for Nebula.

Meanwhile, Jill is apparently even more of a TERF today, according to the top minds of reddit. Her crimes include not condemning harry potter computer games, not condemning evil terf harry potter author J K R*wl*ng, and thinking that maybe it's a bad idea to put hulking great men in womens' prisons.

Shit like this makes me wonder how many of the Dan Rizzo stories were true and how much of it was just Lindsay being a bitch. From what Spoony said, the dude didn't get social cues and was awkward. He even brought his dad with him to the brawl because he was scared about being out of Australia for the first time. But did he really tell people he needed to dodge Lindsay's blow jobs? Wait, Lindsay went after TOM SCOTT? Scott made a vague "I'm stepping away" video over a year ago, that didn't exactly explain why he was leaving content creation, aside from stress. I didn't realize the "stress" was a category 5 Lindsay Ellis bitchfit!

Do you mind if I crosspost this to the Nebula thread? Like, it's a big deal amongst the Nebula fandom that Tom Scott stepped back from making videos/his stans are always begging for him to return to content creation (I think he now makes appearances on Jetlag, but like, he rarely makes his regular content).

Yeah, go ahead. His apology page was archived at the time, it seems. There's a thread on the blocked and reported sub about it, which transcribes the now deleted tweet lindsay made, amongst other things. Tom's output suffered after this point and he announced his intention to quit regular just over a year afterwards, in 2023. Looking over it again now, it's as easy to read it as Lindsay undermining a competitor network (Standard) and getting a bit of revenge on Jill at the same time. Seedy. I am not smart.

As for Nebula, Lindsay is one of the co-owners, or a shareholder, or something of that nature. Powerful enough within it to have the sort of clout that could be used to boot out other creators.

It's fine; Nebula tries very hard to pretend that it isn't a part of Standard, but it is. Nebula's whole "creator owned/creator shareholders/creator stakeholders" claim is sus af/has never been properly conveyed to the general public. To be fair for most of the Europeans leaving was the smart move since for most of them they were treated like the Red Headed Stepchildren of Channel Awesome and since they didn't get much from being a member it was best to remove themselves and let the Americans have their little bitch fight.
