Li was born on the 26th of December, 1989 in what he calls rural Taiwan as a biological male called 黃晨揚 (Huang Chenyang), to a family of uneducated bumpkins who cannot even read Chinese text. They got by with their lives by farming. According to Li, he was smart, gifted, talented and hardworking. He was able to bear the fruits of this genetic lottery to become quite academically gifted. He survived Taiwan's apparently grueling scene of youth competition to earn a scholarship from a Japanese university. This culminated to his major success as an author-trans-activist.
Not being content with that, he hated his own skin and called it a nightmare, he thinks he's female despite being obviously male, with XY chromosomes, cock and balls. As a result of that, he figuratively "killed himself" for a rebirth, now he is a true and honest female!
(Note: Among Chinese tranny circles, there's this ritualistic idea of signing one's own death to validate troon identities, this is not a cult by the way.)
Before year 2019, he came out as a stunning and brave transgender-identified male (男跨性->扮"女") to his parents, to their disgust and disapproval. He claims it took his bumpkin farmer parents a while to comprehend this situation, the fact that the son they've raised is actually a daughter, and also a lesbian. A transgender-lesbian (跨性女同).
Despite Taiwan being very accepting to the gender alphabet cult, causing them to paint the roads of Taipei with obviously environmentally (and visually) devastating rainbow garbage, he believes that Taiwan is a transphobic nation and his parents will be subjected to harassment due to their son; daughter, their son-turned-daughter, who is also a lesbian, somehow. This is despite the fact that Taiwan became the first in Asia to legalise same-sex marraige in 2019, followed by Thailand in 2025. East Asia in general isn't against the idea of same-sex marriage, which is overwhelming supported by the youth, even in so called socially conservative countries (lol) like China and Japan. It's hard to comprehend how and where he got this idea from, until you realise the troon's entire identity is troonism and being allegedly persecuted is their weapon.
Li holds a Chinese and Japanese literature degree from National Taiwan University and a master's degree in Japanese Language education from Waseda University.
He studied at Taichung Municipal High School (臺中市立臺中第一高級中等學校) and likely graduated in year 2007, taking home a literature award (大墩文學獎). He alleges that his parents are farmer bumpkins, yet this was the school he went to. I highly doubt his stories.

Becoming an Author in Japan
Li currently resides in Tokyo, Japan. He is still a citizen of Taiwan and according to him, he voted for Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party (DPP, 民主進步黨). DPP is a centre-left progressive party, the current one in charge, and they are pro-LGBT.Li is bilingual, he is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese, Japanese is his second language. His novels are predominantly written in Japanese. He begun his career in 2017 with the release of a Japanese language novel called "Hitorimai 独り舞 (solo dance)" which earned him the 60th Gunzo Prize (群像新人文学賞, Gunzō Shinjin Bungakush) for new writers in the same year.
In year 2021, his novel "Higanbana ga saku shima 彼岸花が咲く島 (An Island Where Red Spider Lilies Bloom)" received the 165th Akutagawa Prize (芥川龍之介賞, Akutagawa Ryūnosuke Shō).
He is a fairly successful author with countless publications, all of which holds positive ratings according to Amazon.
Li's "Coming Out" V2.0
According to the same article archived above, Li was forced to come out of the closet again as a transgender-identified biological male, due to harassment and so called "unmasking" by his detractor(s). He claims they are jealous of his achievements, trying to smear him as a supporter of Mainland-Taiwan reunification, the CPC, and other deranged schizophrenic babble. All of this was denied by the single Taiwanese author he doxed.To reiterate and provide emphasis, Li self-identifies as female, and he also identifies as a lesbian.
In 2021, Li claims Taiwan caught wind of the "anti-trans movement" in western countries, where countless people were fed up by biological men trying to crossdress, dose, and mutilate themselves into female bathroom and sports. According to him, only 0.5% of the LGBTQ+ identifies as transgender, or perhaps he meant the entire population. This is absolutely not true.

If he's referring to the total population which puts the percentages at 0.4-0.5%, it is still not true because far, far less identify as intersex and others.
Regardless of what the tranny cope is, they're not the smallest group within their alphabet cult or the entire population. This is an attention-seeking tranny cope and a lie, similar to the unfortunately untrue but also too low "41%".
Li left Taiwan to leave his baggage behind, so his immediate family won't be harassed by other people because their son died, now reborn as their daughter. This sounds insane considering that same-sex marriage is legal in Taiwan. Nobody is going to care about his gender identity enough to harass him, let alone his family.
So what exactly happened? Why was Li forced to come out of the closet to add the qualifier "transgender" to his existing lesbian identity? He claims that he was harassed by someone called 江祥綾 (Jiang Xiangyan), and an assortment of other online Taiwanese a-logs he's yet to substantiate. Jiang seems to deny ever branding Li as a "CPC shill, bootlicker, unionist". Li was threatened by a Twitter account with less than 300 followers and went on to dox her.
Jiang describes herself as a "non-binary female". I highly doubt that a person like this would engage in "online harassment", trying to brand a tranny author as a CPC bootlicker and an assortment of other Taiwan no-nos, unless they're a tranny themselves.
From what I've read, I don't think most people care about his self-professed gender identity. They don't like his lies about his gender, pretending to be a lesbian while being a transvestite, trying to encroach on female spaces, and writing so called self-autobiography inserts about his never-existing struggles with lesbianism. From what I've seen and read, he would have been a successful author without shoehorning gender identity into his books. Hell, plenty of his normal writings got awards too.
Controversy
Li found himself in hot waters after he won an award for his novel "Solo Dance ( 独り舞)". This was promoted as a semi-autobiographical novel about a teenager studying at a girl's high school, discovering that she's a lesbian.A novel about teenages exploring sexuality isn't exactly new material, what irked people was the fact that it was promoted as a creative approach to the author's own life. The author, Li, or Huang Chenyang is a man. He has never studied at a girl's only high school. How does he know what it feels like to be a lesbian?
He posted on a Taiwanese image board called PTT, whining about Taiwan's mandatory conscription for men.
Basically he claims mandatory conscription is antithetical to gender equality.
He launched a smear campaign against a Japanese Lesbian bar called Goldfinger, because he believes that men like himself can identify as lesbians.
In 2019, a male trans-identified university professor called Eric McCreepy, I mean McCready tried to enter the bar. He was denied and threw a fit on social media, causing backlash targeted at the bar from various crossdressing men in the world. Li hitched on this event to call them meanies for not allowing cock and balls into their women-only venue.
In 2021, he cried about Japan's transphobia. Note that he left Taiwan where same sex marriage is legal for Japan where it's not legal, because of transphobia.
Litigious Li (versus Reduxx and detractors in Taiwan and Japan)

- The court ruled against criminal charges, so Li filed a civil suit instead.

The website claims to be a Support Group that aims to create a society where all LGBTQ+ individuals can live safely and with dignity. In reality, its sole purpose is to fund one litigious tranny to beat those mean transphobic naysayers into submission with the law. I briefly read all the Chinese entries. He's suing various men and women for misgendering him. When a criminal suit doesn't go his way, he moves to civil means.
He thinks misgendering someone is sexual harassment, the court wasn't gender-aware enough to proceed, forcing him to move to a civil suit.
He's also suing a lawyer of the Japanese organisation "女性スペースを守る会" (protect women spaces) for refusing to play nice with gender cultists.
