Hope Kast wins & proves to be as based as the left's been fearmongering.
I thought Chile just had an election. Was that for something else?
This is just the first round, since neither Jara nor Kast got 50% of the vote right off the bat, they have to go do a runoff next month. Or you might be thinking of
Chile's constitutional referendum back in 2022, where the left dared try to replace Pinochet's constitution with
a globohomo wishlist that would have entrenched mega-gibs welfarism, abortion, faggotry & Canadian-style mandated white guilt + pandering to the local injuns under the name of 'plurinationalism' (same term adored by Evo Morales and the other 'indigenists' with Aconcagua-sized chips on their shoulder over in Bolivia).
They got BTFO'd by over 60% of Chileans then, the right got their chance to put up their own constitution (an even more based evolution of Pinochet's) for a vote the year afterward and although it too failed, 1) it didn't actually matter since the right had already won by keeping Pinochet's constitution & this was basically just a stretch goal, and 2) they at least lost by a smaller margin than the left did when the latter tried to poz Chile's neghole.
How about Peru, Colombia, and those little african ones up in the corner?
I remember the GloboHomo constitution attempt, and wondered if the old school South American left had caught the Floydmas TurboAIDS strain of Western leftism. But your summary gives me hope for Total Caudillo Domination.
AFAIK Peru's left wing basically imploded after their last actually elected president, Pedro Castillo,
attempted the world's gayest coup against the parliament and his successor Dina Boluarte did not go the route of that Russian retard Aleksandr Kerensky (ie. enabling & even arming the left-wing uprisings that sprang up in Castillo's favor, as Kerensky did the Bolsheviks) but instead became beholden to the right wing and military forces, which suppressed the aforementioned pro-Castillo uprisings. Boluarte had a 2% popularity rating and got impeached last month over her inability to deal with surging crime & unemployment, now she's been replaced by some guy named Jose Jeri who's only supposed to be a seat-warmer until next April's elections.
The leading candidates for which are apparently
Keiko Fujimori, daughter of Peru's own Japanese Pinochet Alberto Fujimori, and mayor of Lima
Rafael Lopez Aliaga. Both are said to be hard-right candidates, Fujimori is a three-time loser but keeps running under the memory of her dad's legacy and has been the main candidate of the Peruvian right in those three failed runs, while Aliaga's a big fan of Bukele & an ideological ally to Kast, Argentina's Milei & Brazil's Bolsonaro.
Colombia's election is next year, and the incumbent spastic high-on-his-supply tranny-chasing cartel stooge Gustavo Petro is ineligible for reelection.
The left-wing parties there have found their Boric (lifelong far-left activist turned standardbearer for the whole left) in a guy named Ivan Cepeda, I don't know who's running to represent the right since
that right-wing senator & candidate got assassinated this past summer.
Ecuador is still run by Daniel Noboa, the right-wing anti-crime candidate prosecuting their local gang war.
He won reelection earlier this year over the same woman he beat the first time around and
more recently buckbroke the injuns who decided to stage a nationwide protest & block highways over the removal of fuel subsidies, (
archive) demonstrating that Ecuador for all its problems is also still not Canada.
