The move to Renton was literally the equivalent of an angsty teen running away from home.

He did it purely to get away of his stupid nagging parents who don't know nothing.

I know we like to clown on Linda and Dave, but i'm pretty sure they've done everything within their power to make their son stop begging and it's gotten them nothing but a cold shoulder in their old age.

I don't really watch Asmon, but I know he's a very sarcastic guy, so the way he's saying it leads me to believe it's just a one sided decision on his end and he's not giving Phil any room for negotiation.

He didn't think it through though, he would end up being forced to learn to do his own laundry and comb his own hair. I cannot understand why he moved, without thought, and literally closed on the first house he saw. Power level, I decided to move back to my home state a few years ago, I took a week, drove to my home town and looked at constant houses and apartments before settling on one. Then 8 months after I moved back, I started looking at houses, I drug my poor realtor through at least 30 homes before I settled on mine. I just can't understand making wildly life altering decisions on whims and pure laziness. How else did he think all this was going to turn out.

This is pre-established lore from a few years ago but is very funny to me every time I think about it. Did he mention how he had to be supervised while up there again? The mental image of his parents thinking he was such a dent and/or fag he might fall out of the attic hole and/or try to have gay sex with the He-Mans is funny to me.

Leanna demanded Phil have a place of his own where they could live before officially having a relationship. She wanted to move away from her family and branch out most of all. I'm sure Phil wanted to get out of CT also, but we know how lazy he is. He'd never admit it but he scared knowing he can't do anything on his own, and financially he was dipping by then, we also know he was balls deep in debt after too.

Moving like Phil did was foolish... but it granted him Mature Adult status and that middle condo has somehow convinced 2 women to uproot their lives for him.
 
I also found his dad writing into the Bridgeport newspaper multiple times to complain about local politicians and the trash collecting on the streets. He ran for the School Board as a Republican in 2004. I don't think he won the election

Asmongold should cancel just based purely on this upload, everything about this is disgusting.

Phil starts this saga off by cussing out asmongold on twitter and demanding a chance to talk to him, but now he's promoting it like its just two buddies talking about video games. Congrats Phil, you got the asmongold interview you desperately wanted, now you get the chance to lie and look like an idiot in front of thousands of new viewers.

I heard the question be gone over is why Asmon shouldn't believe the Detractors. Asmon already made a video saying how the detractors aren't detracting because they just played his video without aadding any thing, like monologue of their own. Phil's already been saying that he doesnt make money because people only watch his videos at other places. If he sticks to his guns, which he has no reason to appeal to Phil, and it's only his status that attracted Phil to him, asmon doesn't faulter, we'll see Phil in total disaassociation mode. Who knows what will happen.
I think Phil's total arguement is going to be about, about the same as the RIAA trying to defend themselves to the public about why we shouldn't ever ever download music and that the court of public opinion shouldnt exist and only their whoring out of people.. Wonder what Asmon will say and wonder how Phil will dissacociate.

Asmon doesn't do debates, but it will be funny as hell if Phil tries to deny begging and being salty about viewers. A total retard could debunk it instantly, which despite living like a hobo, Asmon is not.
 
Asmongold will probably laugh and make funny faces at Phil while he rambles like a lying idiot, and want to get him unbanned from Twitch. Hopefully they don't have bonding over not wanting Phil cancelled because of right-wing bullshit that he'll happily play along with.

I enjoy watching Phil repeatedly confronting more popular entertainers and trying to own them, only to make himself look more stupid every time. Those have been my favorite moments recently. Phil is so dumb that he thinks he is a genius.

Too bad he couldn't get an interview with Moist Critical. I was looking forward to that.
 
i have a feeling this will turn out as boring as the quartering interview but it's funny to think about how giddy Phil must feel right now thinking this interview style podcast with Asmon is going to do a complete 180 on his public perception, not to mention the increase in support he's expecting to follow with that.

It strikes me from this that Dave (Phil's father) was an involved and caring person. That doesn't mean a perfect parent but either Phil's mother (who does work with the disabled) or some other person/event has a dramatic impact on little Phil Burnell.

That or the dispute/cheating between his parents impacted him deeply as a child somehow.

No one here really knows anything about Phil's parents and it is entirely plausible that they tried their absolute best with Phil but he just ended up a shitty little ungrateful kid who lied to their faces about his finances repeatedly and couldn't admit to having a gambling addiction.

I personally doubt his parents are that stupid and uninvolved to not be aware of what little Phil does and says online and I'm sure when "detractors" and even well meaning people have shown them irrefutable proof that he's addicted to gambling and a prolific liar.

It does raise a serious interesting question for me. Suppose Phil's parents are actually alright and tried hard to raise a good kid - then how did little Phil turn out this bad? Is it because his autism and obvious mental difficulties were never diagnosed? Did someone else do something bad to little Phil early on that messed with his upbringing? Was the internet/FGC crowd he played with early on a really terrible group of people with literally no male role models to aspire to (I know the answer to this and it's yes)? Or does Phil just have some sort of genetic predisposition to being such a prolific liar?
 
Only thing that would make the DSP-Asmongold thing interesting is if Asmon did talk to the CEO of Twitch and add Phil back to the partner program but also Imagine the CEO just casually showing up like keem did at sidescrollers
