i wanna thank null or whichever was responsible for the Scroll to bottom and top arrows on the bottom right corner, definitely makes browsing the forum way more enjoyable!!! ^_^

EDIT: but, itd be better if they stay on as a permanent button. meaning, if u stop scrolling u should be able to still the keys

@Null have you considered putting on a Thanksgiving/Christmas competition for making new react stickers? Might be something fun and honestly the current react stickers are pretty plain. I'm sure a bunch of people can think up some really good stickers that are farms adjacent.

Not suggesting adding new stickers, but instead new versions of the existing stickers.

Anyone who has one of their stickers selected gets T&H or something like that.

The Final Solution to the "Full image" Question:
Make images work like videos.

If I want to insert a video, I click the "Insert"-button and it inserts the video.
If I want to insert an image, I click the "Insert"-button and it inserts a thumbnailed image.

No more submenu for images.

Everyone saves clicks.
No one is assaulted by gigantic images that take up an entire screen.
Everybody "1763351871355.png".
 
Seeing as how additional stickers are being added, how about a sticker that is device exclusive? Maybe have a fridge sticker that can only be used from a fridge, or the Linux penguin which can only be used on Linux devices.
 
I think posts displaying every single sticker it recieved is too distracting and only clutters up the thread, especially if the post quotes other ones. Maybe go back to the previous system (when only top 3 were visible) but instead of displaying who reacted most recently is displays total number of reactions?

That can be solved by spacing more the post and the stickers. There is no space between the body of the text and the emojis and it needs at least two line breaks.

I like we're having random posts or threads being suggested, but they take too much space too imo.
 
Since you're currently messing with the look of the site, perhaps you could look at the post embeds again.
I think they're insufficiently visually separated from the post body.

Comparing them to quotes, which are IMO done well, shows what I mean.

Perhaps they could have their background color slightly changed and/or some side border could be added like for quotes.
 
Is there a way to see all current sponsored posts? I saw a thread that looked interesting, but lost the link and don't feel like gambling with page reloads.

Edit: got there by brute-forcing the ID inhttps://kiwifarms.st/sponsored-content/click?id=$ID, but a proper list might still be a good idea.

I don't have to mouse all the way over to the left to disagree anymore. The icons are all near where my cursor is.

I like the new sticker layout. It would be nice if clicking on the sticker count on each post added you to that, rather than view who applied that sticker. That way it'd be quicker to rate a post, and I've clicked that way multiple times already thinking it would rate the post with this new layout. You may need to add something else to view total sticker votes though by doing that.

Edit: Terrible idea, pointed out by @cigint .

Please, no. It's already annoying enough how much power the first person to react and first follower have over how a risk-taking post gets interpreted and received by subsequent readers, without making it even more comfortable and convenient to just follow their lead.
